Judicial report: Weather: Fine The adjourned enquiry from 7 July 2007 was concluded.
Club officials Mr R Death, Mrs D Green and Miss E Koroheke all admitted a charge under Rule 88.1.o and were each fined the sum of $200.00
A charge under the same Rule against Handler Mrs B. Craik was dismissed by the Adjudicating Steward.
A further charge under the same Rule against Trainer Mr B.D.F.Craik was withdrawn by the Stipendiary Steward.
Under Rule 91.1.c the dog ROTHVALE REASON was disqualified from its fourth placing in Race 3 on 7 July 2007 as it was found that this dog was not the dog that competed in this Race.

Rule 64.12. 6 days up to and including 26 July 2007. PAPAMOA LASS (PB Freeman) gastroenteritis. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 12 days up to and including 1 August 2007. MISS WOOFY COOKA (PB Freeman) gastroenteritis. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 12 days up to and including 1 August 2007. CATCH CADDY (PB Freeman) gastroenteritis. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 12 days up to and including 1 August 2007.
Race 2 LECTRO HAIR & BEAUTY SPRINT - C0 - 318 BIGTIME TEDDY was checked off MANATEK WEST on the bend losing a couple of lengths before running on well for his second. Shortly after MANATEK WEST himself was checked when tangling with CENTRAL BOWLER. MANATEK WEST dropped out to finish last.
Race 3 CAROL'S TABS' SPRINT - C1 - 318 OUR DELTA and SERGEANT SCREAM were both tightened into the bend losing ground and finishing at the rear.
Race 4 JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS STAKES - C2/3 - 527 THRILLING ROCCO, SEA DRIFTER and SAN SHIN all received some tightening on the first bend with SAN SHIN being shunted wide soon after and losing ground. All of these dogs finished well back.
Race 5 GREYHOUND CONFERENCE & FUNCTION CENTRE SPRINT - C1 - 318 CREEK DIAMOND, EMMA HONCHO and THRILLING AJAY were all tightened into the first bend and lost ground finishing towards the rear. THRILLING AJAY also received a check soon after losing more ground.
Race 6 TERRY RYAN TIMBER SPRINT - C4/5 - 318 CANYA SEE ME missed the jump by about five lengths and remained well back throughout. At the lure LADY TANDIA got its leg caught in another dogs muzzle. A post race veterinary check revealed torn skin on its left fore requiring stitches with a fourteen day stand down recommended. LADY TANDIA (W Steele) torn skin on left fore requiring stitches. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 4 August 2007.
Race 7 KEN FLOWERS MEMORIAL STAKES - C1 - 527 HOME LOAN BLUES was very slow to jump but made up a lot of ground for a close third. SURF IT UP was tightened into the first bend losing ground and drifting to the rear where he stayed. BIGTIME DANCER (DL Annette) Rule 64.14. 28 days up to and including 20 August 2007.
Race 8 PELORUS TRUST DISTANCE FEATURE - C1d - 603 INVESTIGATE and THRILLING AFFAIR were checked into the first bend dropping to the rear and never improving.
Race 9 THORNTON AUCTIONS SPRINT - C2 - 318 FLAT WHITE received a check on the home turn when unable to find racing room in behind HOMEBUSH JADE who was weakening at that point. FLAT WHITE ran on again for fifth.
Race 10 THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL 6PAK STAKES - C4/5 - 527 DRILLING DAM was the last to jump. PADDY FLYIN', THRILLING BONNY and ANOTHER PRIDE tangled into the first bend and shortly after PADDY FLYIN' checked off the heels of ANOTHER PRIDE losing more ground. All of these dogs finished out of the money.
