Race 1	RUSH HIRE - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH JESSIE was first away but along with AMANDA CHOICE and ROCKIN GOOD, was checked on the first corner and they finished in the last three places.
Race 2	SPICERS PAPER - C0 - 305	WHISPERING HOME was slow to begin and was then checked on the first bend when PISTOL LARRY moved in and he finished in 2nd last place CRYSTAL CYRUS was handy to the first corner but was clipped from behind by MY ESSENCE, ran wide into the straight and finished in 5th place.
Race 3	WIZARD HOME LOANS - C1 - 305	At the start EL GRINGO moved across and checked RUN ROSIE RUN. Racing into the bend HAWERA STAR checked off SYDENHAM GREEN which resulted in HAWERA STAR being forced to race wide around the bend.
Race 4	BILL BOYD AND ASSOCIATES - C2 - 520	The hot favouriteTHRILLING MOE was a late scratching at the start on veterinary advice. THRILLING MOE was noticed to be lame at the start and has been given a ten day standown. THRILLING ZOE P.Freeman Rule 64 Suffering from gastroenteritis and stood down for 4 days to and including 19.07.07. THRILLING RIDDLE K.Walsh Ex auckland on 15.07.07. CATCH CADDY P.Freeman Rule 64 Suffering from gastroenteritis and stood down for 4 days to and including 19.07.07. BOSS LOU B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a webbing injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 11.08.07. THRILLING BURN P.Freeman Rule 64 Suffering from lesions between the toes and stood down for 10 days to and including 25.07 .07 THRILLING MOE K Walsh Rule 68 A late scratching due to lameness and stood down for 10 days to and including 27 07 07.
Race 5	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C3 - 305	The favourite GUS THE BUILDER stood as the boxes opened and did not recover, finishing well back.
Race 6	FREEDOM PRINT AND DESIGN PALMERSTON NORTH - C3 - 520	All clear THRILLING CLEO A.Udy Rule 64 Suffering from an injury to the sartorious muscle and stood down for 8 days to and including 24.07.07. THRILLING GERT K.Walsh Rule 64 Suffering from conjunctivitis, received medication and stood down for 7 days to and including 23.07.07. THRILLING JANE P.Freeman Rule 64 Suffering from gastroenteritis and stood down for 4 days to and including 19.07.07.
Race 7	DECO ART, LEVIN 6 PAK - C4/5 - 520	At the start CHARLTON GHOST came across and caused general tightning resulting in JIMMY HALL ,SOPHIE HALL and THRILLING NEWTON being checked as they headed into the first turn , As a result of this SOPHIE HALL lost all chance and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 8	KERB AND CONCRETE LTD - C4/5 - 305	BIG TIME RISK was slow away and raced well back , finishing in last place. BIGTIME RISK was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a tricep muscle injury. On the point of the top bend CLASSIC CONQUEST checked back onto END ZONE and BIGTIME ASSASSIN. BIGTIME ASSASSIN had to change ground quickly and made firm contact with the rail on the point of the home turn. A Vets examination cleared the dog of injury. SEXY ASSASSIN B.Rangiuia Rule 64 Suffering from an injury to the accesory carpal bone and stood down for 10 days to and including 24.07.07. BIGTIME RISK D A Gough Rule 82.1 . Suffered a tricep muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 27-07-07.
Race 9	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C4 - 305	On entering the first turn THRILLING KELLY was checked back through the field onto HOMEBUSH TERRA who came into contact with TUAMORE and these two dogs buffeted each other for about 50 metres and lost all chance. They finished some distance behind the other runners.
