Race 1 | PAWS INN BOARDING KENNEL STAKES - C5 - 545 | The favourite BAXTERS LAD was slow to jump settling last. Into the first bend JOHNNY BAXTER ran out off LIMITED IMPACT forcing BAXTERS LAD and REBEL CASTE wide. These dogs finished at the rear. |
Race 2 | PET CENTRAL SPRINT - C0 - 310 | CHILE MAID, NURSE NANCY and TURN THE CARD were tightened by dogs on their outer into the bend, losing ground and coming back on the favourite NORTH INGILLTAB and KARL BAXTER. BORACIC LINT avoided the incident but was forced wide. CHILE MAID recovered to run on for second with the other finishing at the rear. |
Race 3 | BRIAN BAGLEY DRIVER LICENSING SPRINT - C1 - 310 | GOLDEN MOVER was slow and when improving into the bend checked off HOMEBUSH JENNA losing ground. These two again came together into the straight both finishing midfield. |
Race 4 | WWW.GREYHOUNDSASPETS.ORG.NZ STAKES - C1 - 545 | The favourite GROOVY SHOT and HOMER HAND were forced wide by COLDHARBOR who rsn out around the first bend. Soon after MOA HUNTER who was improving after a slow start checked out of LADY MAUREEN running wide on the track. COLD HARBOR ran on for fourth with the others close up. |
Race 5 | GREEN ISLAND BARBER SPRINT - C1/2 - 310 | REMUS was checked when vying for the lead into the bend coming back and checking the balance of the field with KIM BAXTER, HEAPS HECTIC and PLATINUM WALK the most badly affected. They lost all chance finishing some distance from the placegetters. TRINITY TONIC (P&T Freeman) was a late scratching at 8.00am with a swollen right wrist. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to 9 July 2007. |
Race 6 | DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER SPRINT - C2 - 310 | AMAZING FANCY jumped clear from the boxes. Into the bend DASH DOT DASH struck AMAZING FANCY both drifting through the field. Soon after these two along with OUTSIDE HOYTS tangled losing ground. OUTSIDE HOYTS ran on well for fourth with the other two at the rear. |
Race 7 | KEYOSK SERVICE BAR STAKES - C2 - 545 | Into the first bend THRILLING SCRUFF and PALONE tangled running wide and losing ground. Both finished at the rear. |
Race 8 | SPEEDPRINT SPRINT - C3 - 310 | SILVER CITY struck LAGOON RISE into the bend with SILVER CITY coming back on OHOKA FLIRT and STOKER, these three losing all chance. They filled the last three placings. |
Race 9 | NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #20 FINAL - RESf - 545 | BOATSWAIN WALLY ran inwards after the jump checking RAILS BOOKMAKER and BIG TEASE. These dogs finished towards the rear. |
Race 10 | BROCKLE BANK DRY CLEANERS SPRINT - C4 - 310 | BAXTER'S BOY and HOMEBUSH DUNCAN were slow to jump with HOMEBUSH DUNCAN settling a clear last. He collided with the running rail into the bend losing more ground. Soon after an improving BAXTER'S BOY ran outwards pushing THAT VIRUS into the path of VULCAN EARL with THAT VIRUS falling as a result. He regained his feet to finish the race. Both he and HOMEBUSH DUNCAN were subject to veterinary checks which revealed no injury to either dog. LIPSLIDE (RH Adcock) deceased. |
Race 11 | LAST RACE DASH - C5 - 310 | DUWANNA HAND, KIM'S WHISKY, PAREORA ANGEL and REPEAT OFFENDER were checked into the bend losing ground and filling the last four placings. |
