Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Trainer KL Fairbrother was fined $50.00 for an admitted breach of Rule 71.2 as a result of being late to present her dog KAPAI BOOF for Race 6.

Race 1 WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE STAKES - C0 - 457 FREE AS received a check into the bend as THRILLING AJAY crossed from its outside draw. FREE AS made up a lot of ground after this incident to finish fourth. On the bend BLACK CORTINA and THRILLING JULIET tangled when well back. These dogs remained towards the rear.
Race 2 TAUWHARE SPRINT - C2 - 375 ELITE PARADISE ran outwards into the bend tightening MUSIC LESSON and HOMEBUSH LEE who both lost ground and settled well back where they stayed. MARBLE NUGGET (JR Udy) in season. Rule 64.10. 28 days up to and including 25 July 2007.
Race 3 MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 375 STREET TALL checked RIDDLE INN from behind into the bend with both dogs tangling and losing ground. On the bend STEFANIA checked off RIALTO MAN and continued to run wide losing its chance. At the lure catcher G Stevenson tripped over STEFANIA as he was attempting to retrieve his dog. He was warned of his obligations when catching and a post race veterinary check on STEFANIA revealed no injury.
Race 4 T.A.B PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C1 - 457 All clear.
Race 5 SUPERIOR CHUNKY DOG ROLL DASH - C1 - 375 BLUE DENIM ran inwards soon after the jump tightening KAPAI ROCO and TOP DEAL which lost ground and settled well back. BOLD JENNI tried to run outwards into the bend checking GOLD FOOT and KAPAI ROCO with these dogs losing ground. Once she found racing room BOLD JENNI ran home well for fourth.
Race 6 WAIKATO RACE PIX SPRINT - C1 - 375 All clear. There was no head on film available for this race.
Race 7 TAMAHERE STAKES - C2/3 - 457 Hot favourite STAMPEDE began fairly and was outside the leader on the turn but wasn't able to peg back UNZIPPED who got a lovely run along the rails. Again no head on was available for this race.
Race 8 RAGLAN DASH - C3 - 375 MAXINE'S BEAUTY ran inwards shortly after the jump which put pressure on TOGETHERNESS, HOLAH A HYPO and favourite THRILLING GERT on its inner with all of these dogs losing ground. THRILLING GERT finally managed to get clear racing room on the turn and finished well for fourth. BIGTIME SNOWIE and WAITAK THUNDER were both slow to jump but took advantage of the trouble inside to race around them and finish in the money.
Race 9 RACEWAY SPRINT - C5 - 375 This race was delayed two minutes due to a false start in the previous harness event. MONTANA MONARCH received a nasty check when in between runners on the home turn and dropped out to beat one home. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 10 DUAL CODE THURSDAY 28 JUNE - C4 - 457 MATILDA ran outwards into the turn checking THRILLING NEO and ROTHVALE REASON who both lost ground and finished well back.
