The winner CRYSTAL SAL moved in on the first corner and checked ICY DIGIT and TIMMY VINE. HITMAN FRED and ROCKET RISING were also affected and were pushed wide on the bend over extra ground.
Race 2 92.8 MORE FM - LOCAL AND LOVING IT - C1/2 - 520 JUST A DRIP and SABLE GOLD were slow to begin, settled at the rear and stayed there to the finish. ALBION LANE moved across from the start and checked BLUE WATCH, THREE BUGGS FULL and PECCARI who all lost ground. ALBION LANE and JUST FOREVER collided on the first bend and ran wide at the point. BLUE WATCH and JUST A DRIP were checked entering the back straight and lost ground.
Race 3 PETE & SUE IN THE MORNING ON MORE FM - C1/2 - 305 All clear. HOMEBUSH DIESEL Ex Manawatu on 20.06.07.
Race 4 BRETT BESTON MIDDAYS ON MORE FM - C3 - 305 OUR JIGSAW was slow to begin and lost three lengths and finished in 2nd last place. HOMEBUSH MAX C.Clark Rule 64 Kennel cough in the kennels and stood down for 10 days to and including 28.06.07. Race 5 JASON GRANVILLE AFTERNOON DRIVE ON MORE FM - C3 - 520 STAUNCH and JONNY MARCO bumped together in the race to the first corner and STAUNCH was again checked on the first bend and eventually dropped out to finish in last place. PALSY O'CEIRIN moved out on the first corner and forced LESHITA wide over extra ground on the first bend.
Race 6 828 AM RADIO PACIFIC TRACKSIDE LIVE - C5 - 305 THRILLING MIKE started from box 8 and was forced to race wide over extra ground and finished in 6th place.
Race 7 94.4 FM SOLID GOLD PLAYING MORE 60S & 70S THAN ANYONE ELSE - C4/5 - 520 TIME OVER BOOTS dropped out in the run down the back straight and finished several lengths behind the other runners. TIME OVER BOOTS was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. THRILLING MYNA A.Udy Rule 64 Suffering from pain in a tricep muscle, was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 26.06.07.
Race 8 96.0 FM RADIO LIVE MARCUS LUSH & MICHAEL LAWS IN THE MORNING - C4 - 305 THRILLING MICKEY was very slow to begin losing 4 lengths and finishing near the rear. BIGTIME ASSASSIN checked off the heels of FRIDAY CULTURE near the finish but the result was not affected. HOMEBUSH TERRA Ex Manawatu on 20.06.07.
