SR FAGAN was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11. when SMART WINK weighed in 1.1kgs over her last race weight.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE STAKES - C4/5 - 520 JOHNNY BAXTER, MIDNIGHT FLUTTER and SANDAVE tangled into the first bend losing ground to settle at the rear. JOHNNY BAXTER ran on late for third with the other two well back. TOMMY LEE WHISKY (JT McInerney) left hind wound sutured. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 24 June 2007. LAGOON TALLIS (JT McInerney) left wrist pain on flexion. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 27 June 2007. LEAD ON (JT McInerney) right fore muscle tear. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 1 July 2007.
Race 2 GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND SPRINT - C1 - 295 GOLDEN MOVER and OPEN FOR OFFERS were tightened between dogs into the bend losing all chance to fill the last two placings.
Race 3 CELTIC ARMS DASH - C0 - 295 MCMANNUS was very slow to jump settling a clear last. NURSE NANCY and GOLD DOT were tightened between dogs into the bend coming back on WHATA SMOKEY and forcing an improving MCMANNUS wide. They filled the lat four placings. LAUGARNO DENNIS (MM Grant) starter in Race 10.
Race 4 SHIRLEY T.A.B STAKES - C1 - 520 HOMEBUSH ABEL ran outwards around the first bend when in second place taking SWEET PAPOOSE, MICRO DOTTIE and JACKPOT JACK wide. HOMEBUSH ABEL and SWEET PAPOOSE finished second and third with the other two close up.
Race 5 ROBBIES BAR & BISTRO SPRINT - C1 - 295 Into the bend NICKER TIME and DWACK were tightened by RUN LIKE GEORGE on their outer losing ground and checking HOMEBUSH LARKIN, QUICK LAUGH and PRAISE. These dogs lost all chance with the exception of RUN LIKE GEORGE who ran on for third. GATLIN ANGEL (MJ Flipp) right hind fifth toe nail infected. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 27 June 2007. FOUR WAY DEAL (MM Grant) right hind middle toe fracture. Rule 64.14. 28 days up to and including 16 July 2007.
Race 6 CONTAINERMAN SPRINT - C0 - 295 BLOOMING MABEL and ANOTHER PICNIC were tightened by dogs on their outer into the bend losing all chance to fill the last two placings.
Race 7 WWW.CHRISTCHURCHGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ DASH - C2 - 295 All competitors except the winner WALS WOICE were checked as a result of tightening into the bend which resulted in DASH DOT DASH falling. She regained her feet and finished the event. A post race veterinary checked revcealed no injury.
Race 8 BILLS BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C0 - 520 LAE BAXTER checked out off CHILE COMMAND into the first bend running very wide on the track losing ground to finish last. A post race veterinary check revealed cramping with a seven day stand down recommended. Soon after CHARLIE DEE, CONSTABLE KEITH and CHILE COMMAND tangled for some distance losing ground. CHARLIE DEE ran on late for third with the other two well back. BLUE KIWI was also subject to a post race veterinary check with no injury detected. GATLIN JEWEL (SR Fagan) spike wound left fore. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 24 June 2007. LEA BAXTER (J McInerney Jnr) cramping. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 25 June 2007.
Race 9 MURRAY @ REMAX PH 3715005 DASH - C4 - 295 PAREORA ANGEL jumped to the lead from the boxes with BAXTER'S BOY slow from the inside box. The balance of the field were badly checked when coming together into the bend resulting in LIPSLIDE falling. He regained his feet and finished the event. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. BAXTER'S BOY moved wide around the skirmish to run on for second with HOMEBUSH BUZZ third.
Race 10 FLAIR MAIDEN SPRINT FINAL - C0f - 295 LAUGARNO DENNIS ran out after jumping badly checking CALLING COLLECT, CHILE MAID and the favourite DAPTO GLOSS, these three losing all chance. They finished at the rear. KNOW CENTS (GA Cleeve) stood down at Otago GRC on 14 June 2007. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 20 June 2007.
Race 11 TUESDAY PLACE PICK STAKES - C1 - 520 The favourite LOCHINVAR VUITON was slow from the outside box but improved quickly into the first bend taking the lead in the back straight to run away and win well.
Race 12 NUTRI-ZING SPRINT FINAL - C1f - 295 REMUS and OUTSIDE HOYTS were tightened soon after the jump losing all chance. REMUS ran on for fifth with OUTSIDE HOYTS remaining at the rear.
Race 13 $8 ON COURSE ROAST & REFRESHMENT DASH - C5 - 295 VULCAN EARL and GOOD GRACIOUS ME tangled around the bend when racing at the rear. They filled the last two placing. CRAZY HAND (R Adcock) tied up saddle muscles. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 27 June 2007. NERVOUS WAVE (GA Cleeve) starter in Race 19. HOMEBUSH GABBY (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling with right hock pain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 14 days up to and including 2 July 2007.
Race 14 CHALLENGE WAIMAK NZ ST LEGER - HEAT 1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1 ANOTHER GALE, WINSOME BLITZ and DABYNE PRINCE came together into the first bend losing ground. Soon after ROMAN HOME was checked. He ran on late for third with the other three well back.
Race 15 CHALLENGE WAIMAK NZ ST LEGER - HEAT 2 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1 THRILLING FURY and ROMAN CASTLE received checks in the run to the first bend settling at the rear and never improving. RIGHTLY ACCUSED (BRD Cole) gastro enteritis. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 25 June 2007.
Race 16 HAPPY 50TH STEPHEN LOCKETT DASH - C3 - 295 RIVIERA CHIC was slow from the inside box. He ran on for fourth. KNOW SAY and SILVER CITY jumped clear from the boxes and as KNOW SAY drove down to the rail into the bend, she was struck by SILVER CITY, both sustaining severe checks to drift through the field. KNOW SAY finished fifth with SILVER CITY last.
Race 17 CHALLENGE WAIMAK NZ ST LEGER - HEAT 3 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1 In the home straight ARROGANT SHIRAZ ran inwards and marred KOSTYA BALE. A charge under Rule 80.1.a. was preferred against ARROGANT SHIRAZ. After viewing the race film the Stewards determined the charge to be proven and ARROGANT was stood down for a period of 12 months up to and including 18 June 2008. Race 18 CHALLENGE WAIMAK NZ ST LEGER - HEAT 4 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1 Around the first bend OPAWA STATE and LAGOON PHOENIX tangled with a trailing GROOVY AGAIN colliding with them and being forced wide. LAGOON PHOENIX ran on for third with the other two finishing at the rear.
Race 19 RACING AGAIN TUESDAY DASH - C5 - 295 THAT VIRUS was slow from the inside box running on for fourth. Around the bend NERVOUS WAVE and PROSPERO came together losing momentum. NERVOUS WAVE ran on well late for third with PROSPERO finishing at the rear. DUWANNA HAND (R Adcock) scratched at Otago GRC on 14 June 2007. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 22 June 2007.
