KIA KAHA then made ground well until the first corner where he galloped on the back of HAWERA STAR and they dropped back causing a check to RAMROD REASON and they finished in the last three places. PAPAKA W.Goodwin Rule 64 Suffering from a webbing injury, was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 06.06.07
Race 2	SUE COLE IS A KIWI GIRL - C0 - 305	EBONY CYRUS was forced out on the first corner and this resulted in checks to GEORGIE MOHAN and PISTOL LARRY who dropped back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. HITMAN FRED and CRYSTAL CYRUS both ran wide on the bend and into the straight and covered extra ground. NAKI MAGIC Ex Wanganui on 30.05.07.
Race 3	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1/2 - 520	SEILATAN was last away and then on the first bend collided with ASTRO NERONE and soon after with COLOUR WASH and they all lost ground and finished back in the field.
Race 4	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C4 - 305	All clear.
Race 5	GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C4/5 - 305	The winner HILLYS TIP moved out on the first corner and checked the well supported pair, WORLD BANK and CRYSTAL WENDY who went back to the rear and stayed there to finish in the last two places. Additional stand down from 30.05.07. DOSSES ANGEL B.Cole Rule 82 Suffered a spike wound and stood down for 10 days to and including 08.06.07.
Race 6	RUSH HIRE - C0d - 645	All clear. THRILLING MONTY P.Freeman Rule 64 Suffering from a flexor tendon injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 09.06.07. ARATAKI LASS P.Freeman Rule 68 A late scratching and is now deceased.
Race 7	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C5 - 305	THRILLING MIKE was checked on the first corner, ran wide on the bend and forced CRYSTAL HISTORY wide over extra ground.
Race 8	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C4/5 - 520	OPAWA LIZ moved out slightly on the first turn and bumped KIWI ASSASSIN who lost a little ground. BIGTIME ASSASSIN L.Ahern Rule 64 Suffering from a stopper pad injury and presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 06.06.07.
Race 9	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C2 - 305	TUSSY was checked on the first corner, moved out and caused checks to TARTARE SAUCE, DUSTY'S DIAMOND and SWAPSY who all lost ground and they finished in the last four places.
Race 10	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C2/3 - 305	One of the favourites MR MIARGI ran wide throughout over extra ground and finished in 4th place. HOMEBUSH LEGEND, PEEL RIDGE SUE, HOMEBUSH MAX and CATCH CADDY were checked on the first corner and they lost ground and finished in the last four places.
