Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Difficulty was experienced at the conclusion of a number of races, particularly sprints, of handlers running into the lure before it had come to a halt. General provisions advising all those handling and catching of dogs are needed at all clubs to remind them of their obligations in terms of the Occupational Safety and Health requirements.
Judicial report: Weather: Fine Handler RW Cairns was warned for a breach of Rule 68.2 when he failed to produce CLAN BLUE to the Stewards within the required time. He confirmed initially omitting to bring the dog to the racetrack and upon returning home to retrieve it, was involved in a motor accident.
Track curator MA Jopson waswarned of her obligations as`a curator and advised that in that position she did not have the powers of a steward. This resulted from her actions and comments at the lure following Race 14 when a dog from the McInerney kennels proved difficult to remove from the lure.

| Race 1 | ADVANCE PERFORMANCE SPRINT - C5 - 295 | In the run to the turn AWESOME AUTUMN was squeezed up between ZENSU and ANOTHER LAUREL and forced backwards, checking the running of SANDAVE. AWESOME AUTUMN subsequently went wide on the turn, appeared to pull up and struggled to finish at the rear of the field. CRAFTY CARSON was slow out and ran awkwardly during the race to finish second last. Post race veterinary checks showed AWESOME AUTUMN had a fractured right hock and a 28 day stand down was recommended, whilst CRAFTY CARSON had a left triceps tear and a 14 day stand down was recommended. GOOD GRACIOUS ME (RD Blackburn) left ear bitten and bleeding. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 4 June 2007. | Race 2 | C.T.V DASH - C1 - 295 | GOLDEN MOVER and TORQUE TRENDY were slow to jump. On the turn DANCING FOR GOLD tightened CLAN MCINERNEY and MULBERRY TRICK, with MULBERRY TRICK pushed back to finish at the rear. GOLDEN MOVER was also checked and lost momentum to finish sixth. RAMAHANA ROSIE (M Robinson) right hock sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 10 June 2007. |
| Race 3 | FITZGERALD ARMS TAVERN DASH - C0 - 295 | In the run to the turn ELLE VOLI pushed outwards and checked the running of KNOW FAITH, with PORSCHA tightened and struck by CLAN MCDEE and being forced backwards to finish seventh. A post race veterinary check on PORSCHA revealed a fractured left fore metacarpal with a 28 days stand down recommended. PORSCHA (HG Cairns) left fore fractured metacarpal. | Race 4 | IN VIEW PRINT STAKES - C1 - 520 | Favourite GROOVY EYE was slow to jump and when improving on the first turn tangled with SABA JEWEL and went back to last. GROOVY EYE flew home late in the home straight to get up for third. CHILE TIME jumped quickly to the lead and led into the back straight but faded quickly to finish sixth. |
| Race 5 | GARDEN CITY CHEM DRY SPRINT - C0 - 295 | SISTER DEE was struck soon after the jump by CLAN DESPERADO, both dogs losing ground to finish at the rear. SISTER DEE was subject to a post race veterinary check which showed left metacarpal pain and a 14 day stand down was recommended. SISTER DEE (HG Cairns) left metacarpal pain. | Race 6 | FLAIR DASH - C0 - 295 | In the run to the turn HOMEBUSH BALIN crossed over and tangled with CLELAND GOLD resulting in a check to CLAN SAVIOUR. All three dogs finished towards the rear. On the turn ROBIDY ROB checked off the rear of SOUTHERN MAN and went backwards to finish last. |
| Race 7 | WILSONS SPORTS BAR & TAB SPRINT - C3 - 295 | TITANIC was very slow to jump and was always well back finishing second last. On the turn CLAN BLUE checked off the rear of HOMEBUSH DAVE but ran on fairly in the straight for 5th while HOMEBUSH DAVE went backwards and finished last. |
| Race 8 | DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER STAKES - C0 - 520 | CHILE MAID and BLUE KIWI tangled into the first turn, checking the running of CHARLIE DEE and GROOVY SHOT. All four dogs finished at the rear. |
| Race 9 | CONTAINERMAN SPRINT - C1 - 295 | From the jump KIWI YOUNG pushed across to the rail checking the running of FOUR WAY DEAL and MISS FINE LINE. On the turn KIWI YOUNG was tightened and checked off the rear of HOMEBUSH LARKIN but ran on fairly in the home straight for fifth. CLAN BAILEY (HG Cairns) stood down at Otago GRC meeting on 24 May 2007. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 2 June 2007. |
| Race 10 | KOLORFUL KANVAS DASH - C1 - 295 | In the run to the turn ENCHANTED DREAM checked off the hind quarters of WHATA DILEMA and ran out wide forcing EL AQUILON wider. Both ENCHANTED DREAM and EL AQUILON finished at the rear. A post race veterinary check on ENCHANTED DREAM showed a right TFL tear with a 21 day stand down recommended. BLING BLING KING (JA McMillan) starter in Race 12. MISS FINE LINE (Hart/Taylor) starter in Race 9. ENCHANTED DREAM (AJ Hart & K.Taylor) right TFL tear. | Race 12 | NUTRI-ZING SPRINT FINAL - C1f - 295 | HOMEBUSH ABEL was slow from the inside box settling last. Soon after the jump PRAISE was checked when tightened. KNOW GOOD drove to the lead into the bend before being clipped by DASH DOT DASH who checked back onto an improving HOMEBUSH ABEL, with resultant checks to CHILE LOPEZ, DWACK and BLING BLING KING. All five dogs lost their chance of placing. MR BARRINGTON (VE Kingston) fractured right fore toe. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 30 days up to and including 23 June 2007. ZAMWHEN (R Casey) left fore outside sesamoid pain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 30 May 2007. This dog was withdrawn from the final prior to the box draw with this injury. |
| Race 13 | $8 ON COURSE ROAST & REFRESHMENT DASH - C5 - 295 | HOMEBUSH FITZY, LIMITED IMPACT and ROYAL REPRIEVE were checked into the bend forcing NICCA NOTCH wide on the track. They filled the last four placings. |
| Race 14 | BILLS BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C2 - 520 | PALONE was tightened in the run to the first turn and checked off the rear of RAGIN CAJUN on the turn, but rallied to run on for fourth. |

| Race 16 | DANNY MILLWARD PLASTERING SPRINT - C2 - 295 | As the field tightened in the run to the first turn WAKATIPU FLYER and WALS WOICE crossed over in front of LAGOON RISE which checked stride and went back on top of RICHTER. As a consequence of this EL ASSASSIN received a check and was forced into the running rail, finishing at the rear. RICHTER recovered to run on well for third. A post race veterinary check on EL ASSASSIN showed no injury was sustained. |
| Race 17 | ROBBIES BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C4/5 - 520 | WHISKY BOY and FANTA CLAWS tangled on the first turn and lost ground, with these runners filling the last two placings. SCOTEXCITED (GA Cleeve) left hind inside toe sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 5 June 2007. |
| Race 18 | MURRAY @ REMAX PH 371-5005 DASH - C2 - 295 | From the jump OHOKA FLIRT ran out wide and forced WHERES YABREEKS wider. OHOKA FLIRT ran on in the straight to finish fourth while WHERES YABREEKS tailed off last. At the start it was noted that trainer MJ Flipp had difficulty in boxing WHERES YABREEKS which was confirmed by the starter. As a result WHERES YABREEKS was declared a 'hard to box' dog and his registration papers noted accordingly. |
| Race 19 | RACING AGAIN TUESDAY DASH - C3/4 - 295 | THAT VIRUS and HOMEBUSH DUNCAN were very slow to jump. Into the turn ADIO ROUTINE checked off the rear of SMART WINK in a tightening field and checked an improving THAT VIRUS. Both THAT VIRUS and HOMEBUSH DUNCAN filled the last two placings. |
| Race 20 | CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C2/3 - 520 | Into the first turn PAUL BAXTER tangled with KOSTYA BALE and CLAN STAR which fell heavily and lost all chances finishing a distant last. A post race veterinary check revealed CLAN STAR to have sustained a right TF tear with a 14 day stand down recommended. DANCING HARRY was also examined the the veterinarian and found to have a left hind web tear with a 10 day stand down recommended. This was confirmed by the veterinarian as a reoccurence of an old injury. HOMEBUSH CATH (JT McInerney) deceased. THRILLING FURY (RM McKenzie) right hind groin sprain after race fall. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 3 June 2007. CLAN STAR (HG Cairns) right TFL tear. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 11 June 2007.
