Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer DD Schofield was fined $50.00 under Rule 64.1 as a result of CHARLSTON KID being scratched at 11.20am of the morning of the meeting. This dog was scratched from the Wanganui meeting earlier in the week and Mr Schofield was under the impression that the scratching also applied to this meeting as well. No dog was denied a start as a result of the late scratching.
Handler Mrs B. Craik was reminded of her obligations in relation to the catching of BIGTIME DANCER in Race 6.

Race 1 WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE SPRINT - C2 - 375 BARRIMUNDI FLEX was the last to jump and ran on late for his fifth placing. SANTAS PRINCE (NP Green) left wrist sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 5 June 2007.
Race 2 MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 375 This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of raceday control. BLUE TWIRL failed to negotiate the bend taking CENTRAL BOWLER with it. Both dogs lost ground at this stage. MUMBLE JUMBLE and HITMAN FRED tangled into the bend with both dogs losing ground and finishing well back.
Race 3 TAUWHARE STAKES - C1 - 457 This race was delayed by three minutes at the request of raceday control. MANGONUI MISS crossed quickly from its outside box causing RYANS THUNDER, RICONIAK and HOMEBUSH STELLA to all lose ground and their chances. Favourite BLACK BOOK was a touch slow but received a charmed run through to be third on the bend. He only battled in the run home for his sixth. ANNIES BRAT (GA Lawrence) sheath tear left long head triceps and right intraspinatus sprain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 1 June 2007.
Race 4 SUPERIOR CHUNKY DOG ROLL DASH - C3 - 375 This race was delayed by three minutes at the request of raceday control. IDOLISE ME was very slow to jump and tailed the field throughout. Shortly after the start ELLA LEE ran outwards as TOGETHERNESS ran inwards. As a result BIGTIME SNOWIE, NANCY'S WISH and RIALTO MISSION all received some tightening as the winner THRILLING HUBBA put a winning break on the field.
Race 5 WAIKATO RACE PIX STAKES - C0 - 457 BLUE DENIM and EMILY BREEZE tangled into the bend losing their positions while soon after SAMS RENEGADE and EMILY BREEZE also came together and dropped back through the field. The favourite ROSIEANNA BABY was slow away and also received some interference from these incidents finishing at the rear.
Race 6 T.A.B PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE SPRINT - C1 - 375 AUDITORS FLAME checked off the pacemaking THRILLING GERT across the top and in doing so ran outwards on to TERROR JIM with both dogs losing ground and finishing midfield.
Race 7 RODEWALD HART BROWN LTD STAKES - C4/5 - 457 HOT DICKADEE was slow to jump settling at the rear. MIDNIGHT FLUTTER was handy to the bend until he was tightened by dogs on both sides. He dropped out to finish seventh.
Race 8 RACEWAY SPRINT - C1 - 375 RIALTO GUN was the last of the five to leave the boxes but ran on well for his second placing. ELLA JADE (W Steele) chronic corn on right fore with partial amputation. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 28 days up to and including 19 June 2007. TRENDY TIME (JR Udy) sprained toe. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 29 May 2007.
Race 9 VEHICLE SERVICES RACEWAY SPRINT - C4 - 375 NITRO LAD was slow to jump and dropped further back as the race progressed. A post race veterinary check revealed a ruptured monkey muscle with a twenty-eight day stand down recommended. CHARLSTON KID (DD Schofield) scratched at Wanganui 23 May 2007. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 31 May 2007. (See Judicial) NITRO LAD (BDF Craik) ruptured right monkey muscle. Rule 82.1. 28 days up to and including 20 June 2007.
Race 10 RACING HERE 31 MAY DUAL CODE - C5 - 457 THRILLING TEAR, SHARIMORE and JOHNNY tangled into the bend losing ground and soon after SHARIMORE was also clipped from behind by JOHNNY losing ground and dropping out to a clear last.
