Judicial report: Weather: changable Mrs D M Donlon was fined $50.00 under rule 69.11 for presenting Timmy Vine 1.1kg overweight for race two
A C Nightingale was fined $50.00 under rule 71 for being late to kennel block for pre race inspection and presentation
Trainer (N Udy) was spoken to by the stewards regarding him advising handler (L Phillips) of a pre race swab for Thrilling Riddle in race seven.Mr Udy told Mr Phillips that the stewards had been trying to find him to advise him that this dog was required for a pre race swab
Mr Phillips presented himself at the kennel block to get his dog out for this , but was advised after contact to the stewards that this was not so.
After speaking to Mr Udy concerning this incident , he has been advised of his obligations in being a licence holder and was given a very clear warning that any future episodes of this nature will not be tolerated and he would face serious charges for this type of offence in the future

Race 1 WELLINGTON HOUNDS @ HATRICK - C1 - 305 Going into the first turn Scrap Metalmen(fav) and Bug Catcher came together akwardly causing both dogs to be checked and end up at the rear of the field Swappa Crate who was trying to improve around the field at this point was also forced wide by this incident As they turned for home Scrap Metalman had to check back off the heels of Fog Patches as he attempted to make ground up on the rail
Race 2 BRANDON ST, TAB WELLINGTON - C0 - 305 A one minute delay to the strat of this race at the request of the TAB Sexy Girl Sutton was slow away Coming up to the first turn there was tightening to Georgie Mohan,Sexy Girl Sotton and Miss Arrogance as Timmy Vine was attempting to come across towards the rail, these three three dogs all checks at this point Soon after Sexy Girl Sutton recived another check as she was making ground as Miss Arrogance was forced over by Timmy Vine was attempting to get across to the rail Trainer (Mrs D M Donlon) was fined for presenting Timmy Vine overweight----------. Race 3 CAMBRIDGE HOTEL, WELLINGTON - C0 - 520 At the start there was tightning between Miss Summer Rose and Thrilling Rip for several strides resulting in them moving across and tightning Ngapui Boy and Debbie Bluefire As a result of this Thrilling Rip ran very wide around the first bend losing valuable ground, this dog eventually got onto the rail on the top bend and made up good ground to run a close fourth Thrilling Rip was examined by the veterinary surgeon and is stood down for ten days Trainer (Mr A C Nightingale) was fined for being late for being late to get Deadly Prince out for pre race inspection and presentation.----------. Race 4 EXCHANGE HOTEL, LOWER HUTT - C2 - 305 First Sample was slow away . .
Race 5 SPEIGHTS ALE HOUSE - PETONE - C4/5 - 305 At the start there was tighteningfor several strides between the three outside dogs as they got away from the boxes-- Entering the first turn Sir Kretion (fav) in attempting to cross to the rail caused severe tightning to Crystal Wendy ,Best Tell Pie and Michelac On the top bend Double Happy came over onto Pattys Answer as Crystal Wendy was making ground in behind she cannoned into the rear of Pattys Answer and these two dogs lost all chance thereafter--------.
Race 6 PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1 - 520 Going out of the turn the first time Stretches made slight contact with the rail and came off the rail and hit Bigtime Assassin forcing that dog wide and Thrilling Milly was forced wider losing all chance thereafter On the home turn Bigtime Assassin checked back off the heels of Stretches for a couple of strides . Race 7 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C4 - 305 Bigtime Jim was slow away .
Race 8 TOTAL BODY SHOP 6 PACK - C4 - 520 Soon after the start Staunch, Central Raider and Palsy O`Ceirin came together crowding each other for a distance,as they straightened up Palsy O`Ceirin and Aranui Speedy collided and never got back into the race finishing in the last two placings
Race 9 UPPER VALLEY PANEL - C1/2 - 520 Going out of the straight first time Homebush Elvy and Astro Nerome came together for a couple of strides then Selitan came off the rail pushed Homebush Elvy who cannoned into Astro Nerome causing these two dogs to lose all chance there after Homebush Elvy was examined by the veterinary surgeon and given a ten day standown Trainer (N Udy) was spoken to regarding false information (refer judical). Race 10 ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C4/5 - 305 Thrilling Micky was slow away Coming up to the first turn there was tightning to the four inside dogs as Arataki raced across looking for the rail as a result of this Kylie`s Dilema(fav) and Sharimore where the worst affected with Sharimore racing wide thereafter losing all chance and Kylie`s Dilema not being able also to get back into contention Kylie`s Dilema was examined by the veterinary surgeon and given a ten day standown . Kylie`s Dilema(S P Clark) Injury to left gastrocnrmius muscle distaccy Rule 82 Ten day standown to and including 25 May 2007
Race 11 B & P ENGINEERING - C3 - 305 Grundy was slow away Soon after the start MCTaggart came over and tightened the inside runners resulting in Mr Gulliver being squeezed back to the rear and Grundy was pushed over to the rail and these two dogs could`nt recover to get back into contention after this Also as a result of this Bigtime Ella(Fav) and MCTaggart came together jostling each other for a distance by the time Bigtime Ella got clear the leader Sexy Dream had got a break on the field and Bigtime Ella made a sustained run to get beaten by a bare margin
