Judicial report: Weather: Fine Adjourned enquiry from Cambridge 4 May 2007. As a result of further investigations no charge was preferred against Trainer GA Lawrence after the late scratching of TEE SHIRT. It is acknowledged that Mr Lawrence was genuinely concerned about the state of the track on his dog's welfare as the track was harder than normal. The mandatory stand down of the dog is unchanged.

Race 1 WWW.AGRC.CO.NZ SPRINT - C0 - 318 CALL ME GIZMO and SERGEANT SCREAM were the slowest to jump with both dogs finishing midfield. On the home bend MIDGET RACER, BIGTIME TEDDY and TAMAKI GIRL came together but did not lose any ground as a result.
Race 2 THERMOPEUTIC STAKES FEATURE - C0 - 527 INTENTION KNOWN and HOME LOAN BLUES were slow to jump remaining in midfield throughout. THRILLING RIP ran inwards soon after the jump causing CREEK DIAMOND to be crowded and lose ground. Into the first bend THRILLING JULIET checked outwards and tangled with HOME LOAN BLUES with both dogs losing ground. A post race veterinary check on THRILLING JULIET revealed a torn dew claw with a ten day stand down recommended. THRILLING JULIET (DW Mathews) left fore dew claw torn off. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 15 May 2007.
Race 3 CAROL'S TABS' SPRINT - C1 - 318 BLACK ELLY was slow to jump and remained well back throughout. HUNKASPUNK checked outwards off NEW CLEAR POWER into the bend causing further checks to FANCY LINE and ROSETTA. These dogs all lost ground and their chances.
Race 4 JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS STAKES - C4/5 - 527 All clear. RICHFIELD REASON (BDF Craik) was a late scratching at kennelling with a dislocated toe. Rule 68.26. 10 days up to and including 15 May 2007
Race 5 REASON FINANCE SPRINT - C5 - 318 THRILLING OLLIE was slow to jump and remained in midfield. STATELY CONQUEST ran outwards into the bend causing TIME OVER BOOTS and DREAMAQUEEN to race over extra ground and lose their chances.
Race 6 PACIFIC SHEET & COIL STAKES FEATURE - C3 - 527 This race was delayed by six minutes due to a lure failure. Into the first bend MASSACHUSETTS was tightened and pushed HOPPLAR wide with these dogs losing ground and tailing the field home.
Race 7 COMMERCICAL PLUMBING SPRINT - C3/4 - 318 LADY BRIANA received a check at the end of the back straight coming back on NITRO LAD with both dogs dropping to the rear and never improving. MAXINE'S BEAUTY (DW Mathews) off side front laceration. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 13 May 2007. FULL OF FLARE (GR Farrell) tongue injury. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 12 May 2007.
Race 8 TRUSTS CHARITABLE STAKES - C1 - 527 ANDREW THE BRAVE was very slow to jump losing several lengths. He passed a few to finish fifth. THRILLING SWIFT ran in soon after the jump squeezing TRENDY TIME onto ROMANO REASON. TRENDY TIME stumbled and almost fell at that point dropping away to finish a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. THRILLING SWIFT continued to run inwards checking KINDA SHY which ran outwards as a result taking ROMANO REASON over extra ground. These two dogs finished well back.
Race 9 CHILLI'S R & B SPRINT - C2 - 318 AMBEROSE was slow to jump and then checked when attempting to recover into the bend. She dropped out to a long last and remained there. MUSIC LESSON was tightened in the early rush but charged home late for its third. FLAT WHITE (CJ Derecourt) interdigital ligament sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 18 May 2007.
Race 10 THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL 6PAK STAKES - C2 - 527 LADYLIKE TOKEN and THAT GIRL were a shade slow to jump from the outside settling at the rear and never improving.
