Judicial report: Weather: Fine T.McCracken the Trainer of HOMEBUSH WESTIE was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.1 kilograms underweight.
P.Raven the Trainer of TUSSY was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.3 kilograms underweight.
An inquiry was opened and adjourned into an allegation that a Trainer had spoken to the Starter in an improper manner. Further inquiries are to be carried out into the allegation.

DREAMS OF VISION ran out and TUGS TIP ran in from the start and they collided with LITTLE GYMNIST and FIRST SAMPLE with all four dogs losing ground and they settled at the rear and finished in the last four places. DREAMS OF VISION was also checked on the first corner and lost two lengths
Race 2 WELLINGTON COMMITTEE STAKES - C0 - 305 One of the favourites IN THE MOB began awkwardly and dropped back to near the rear. IN THE MOB was then checked on the first corner when MISS SUMMER ROSE was checked and dropped back on to it and then again on the bend and he finished in 5th place. ICY DIGIT G.Frost Rule 64 Suffering from bruising to a shoulder and stood down for 10 days to and including 01.05.07. BUDA BUDA BOO S.Gommans Rule 64 Suffering from enteritis and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 29.04.07.
Race 3 CAMBRIDGE HOTEL, WELLINGTON - C1/2 - 520 SMILER was checked on the first corner and dropped out to finish in last place. THRILLING SUNNY galloped on the back of MUSIC LESSON on the first turn and they lost several lengths and all chance of a placing. ESPADRILLE O.Marron Rule 68 A late scratching due to a toe injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 22.05.07. LUKE SAMMY ZAK W.J.Hodgson Rule 64 Suffering from a shoulder injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 02.05.07.
Race 4 EXCHANGE HOTEL, LOWER HUTT - C1 - 305 This race was delayed by two minutes at the T.A.B. request. CALM ILLUSION was very slow to begin and lost several lengths and all chance of a placing. The winner BIGTIME ELLA moved in on the first corner and checked TUAMORE who lost ground but recovered to finish in 3rd place. KIA KAHA was handy early but ran out off the rail on the bend, caused checks to ROCKIN GOOD and SWAPPA CRATE and dropped out to finish in last place. TEENY WEENY J.McArthur Rule 68 A late scratching due to lameness and stood down for 10 days to and including 04.05.07.
Race 5 SPEIGHTS ALE HOUSE - PETONE - C3 - 520 The favourite MATILDA was slow to begin and was last to the first corner and was then checked entering the back straight and lost ground. MATILDA recovered to run on for 3rd placing. NGALA was checked on the first corner and ran wide on the bend over extra ground. LESHITA and DURAN DURAN collided on the first bend and DURAN DURAN lost several lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish.
Race 6 PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1/2 - 305 The favourite SPOTTED ALLEGRO was away very well and led on the bend but appeared to suffer an injury and dropped out quickly to finish several lengths last. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for days with 28 days with a monkey muscle injury. ASTRO JIMMY S.Maher Rule 64 Suffering from a gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 12.05.07. SPOTTED ALLEGRO K & J Benson Rule 82 Suffered a monkey muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 22.05.07.
Race 7 TOTAL BODY SHOP SIX PACK - C5 - 520 The favourite PADDY FLYIN was on a forward move in 3rd place starting the last bend but was checked, lost several lengths and finished in 4th place.
Race 8 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C5 - 305 SHARIMORE ran on the heels of FARMOR BLISS on the first corner and they lost three lengths and finished at the rear.
Race 9 UPPER VALLEY PANEL - C3/4 - 520 DREAM ON CYRUS moved out on the home turn and checked OWNEY JOE TARR who lost ground but recovered to finish in 2nd place. ARANUI SPEEDY Ex Wanganui on 22.04.07.
Race 10 ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C4 - 305 All clear.
Race 11 B & P ENGINEERING - C3 - 305 DEADLOCK and COREYS FLIGHT who drew boxes 7 and 8 moved across sharply from the start and caused crowding and checks to DILANA, CHARLIE CASH, CRYSTAL WENDY, MCTAGGART and SHIKANA and they lost ground and finished in the last five places.
Race 12 ANGLO UPHOLSTERERS - C1 - 305 CAYOTE BOY and ROCKET WOLF collided on the first corner and both lost ground and they finished well back.
