PAUL BAXTER, HOMEBUSH THORN, FORCEFUL HABIT and the favourite LAGOON PHOENIX were all tightened into the first bend. Of these dogs LAGOON PHOENIX made ground for a good second with the others remaining in midfield. |
Race 2 | KOLORFUL KANVAS SPRINT - C5 - 295 | DELS DELIGHT was squeezed soon after the jump drifting to the rear. She ran on for fifth. AWESOME AUTUMN and GOOD GRACIOUS ME tangled wide on the track just prior to the bend with both dogs dropping to the rear. CRAFTY CARSON was tightened into the bend and lost ground. ANOTHER GALE (JT McInerney) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 27 April 2007. |
Race 3 | APACHE LODGE SPRINT - C0 - 295 | MIDDY KIM was tightened into the bend losing ground. Soon after YOHAN KIM and QUICK LAUGH tangled losing their chances. BERT BADGER ran outwards on to BRIGHT GEORGE and POWERFAST BORIS on the bend with CAPTAIN MCCAW being pushed even wider and losing ground. |
Race 4 | CONTAINERMAN STAKES - C1 - 520 | RICHMOND BOB was subject to a post race veterinary check and found to have a minor right hip support tear with a ten day stand down recommended. RICHMOND BOB (JT McInerney) right hip support tear. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 3 May 2007. |
Race 5 | SHIRLEY T.A.B DASH - C1 - 295 | BOUNCEN BLITZEM was slow to jump and then ran into a wall of dogs when attempting to improve into the bend. She remained last throughout. KIWI YOUNG was checked back to last into the bend but made up ground well to finish a luckless fourth. MISS WICKLOW, HOMEBUSH LARKIN and TAMBOOLI came together on the home turn when well back. A post race veterinary check on HOMEBUSH LARKIN revealed a torn left hind webb with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
Race 6 | DAVE EMERSON CONSULTANCY SPRINT - C0 - 295 | Favourite PRAISE was slowest to jump and made ground fairly for fifth. TOMMY TATTOO, SHEEZA GRINNER and CLELAND GOLD were all tightened into the bend settling well back. |
Race 7 | CELTIC ARMS STAKES - C0 - 520 | TED BAXTER and NASSIRAY JEWEL were the last to jump with both dogs finishing in midfield. PLATINUM WALK was handy to the first bend when he received a slight check and drifted out. She finished last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. Race 8 | FASHION THIEF @ STUD DASH - C2 - 295 | BRUNO DIABLO was the slowest to jump settling well back. KRISSY BALE received a bad check when being crossed into the first bend losing ground. She made ground again for fifth. |
Race 9 | INDEPENDENT CARPETS CRANFORD DASH - C1 - 295 | HIDDEN SECRETS was slow to jump losing three lengths. TRENDY SON was held up for racing room into the bend and then tangled with DWACK and HIDDEN SECRETS. When in the clear TRENDY SON roared home for third. HOMEBUSH LARKIN (PJ Norris) torn left hind webb. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 7 May 2007. |
Race 10 | GEORGE CALVERT CLEANING SPRINT - C2 - 295 | BLAZIN A TRAIL was badly checked when crossed by the winner PRAISE BE into the bend. This resulted in BLAZIN A TRAIL running off the rail and checking TRINITY TONKA with BAXTER'S BOY, TAIM BIHAIN and OHOKA FLIRT all losing ground in the incident. Race 14 | MURRAY @ REMAX PH 033715005 - C1 - 520 | SABA JEWEL checked off TIME FAULTS out of the first bend with TRACTOR JACK receiving a check and dropping away. While this was happening in midfield the favourite COOL GROOVY was scorching along in front creating a class record. |

Race 16 | SCHULTZ PANEL & PAINT STAKES - C1 - 520 | The short priced favourite LOCHINVAR VUITON was very slow to jump but improved quickly into the first bend running on well for third. HOMEBUSH BIGSHOW was tightened into the first bend losing ground finishing on again for fourth. Soon after RODGER BAXTER checked out off an improving LOCHINVAR VUITON running wide with MISS FINE LINE following. Both finished at the rear with MUPPET MAN who was handy early before drifting out late. |
Race 17 | CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP STAKES - C4 - 520 | BAXTERS LAD was slow to jump and improved quickly into the body of the field checking ORPHAN ASSASSIN and ROMAN HOME, all three losing ground. They never recovered finishing at the rear. |
Race 18 | RACING HERE TUESDAY DASH - C3 - 295 | GHASTLY was slow to jump settling at the rear. Into the bend OLD DANS MATE, JAZZ MAN and DUWANNA HAND tangled losing ground. DUWANNA HAND recovered well to finish on for third with the other three at the rear. CLAN MISTY (HG Cairns) club scratching. |
Race 19 | BARRONS SUPPLIES SPRINT FINAL - C1f - 295 | TWISTER SISTER and BOTOX BARBIE were checked when tightened by the winner BUGIN THE JUG as he went to the lead. AGENT BRISTOW and QUANAH were checked as a result. They filled the last four placings. |
Race 20 | CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C5 - 520 | The favourite ANOTHER WHISKY was slow to leave the boxes. He improved to midfield before running on strongly for third.
