Judicial report: Weather: Fine S.Drysdale the Trainer of COCKNEY ASSASSIN was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.3 kilograms underweight.
C.Morris was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 71.4 for failing to catch a dog as arranged.
An inquiry was opened and adjourned into an allegation that the Clubs Lure driver C.Butlin had used improper and threatening language to Trainer B.Cole.

Race 1 SPICERS PAPER STAKES - C0 - 520 POLSKA ran in from the start and checked FLIRTATIOUS WINK and JUST FOREVER who settled at the rear. MISS SUMMER ROSE moved out on the first turn and checked ROCKET RISING and POLSKA who lost a little ground.
Race 2 CLOVERLEA TAVERN & TAB DASH - C0 - 305 All clear.
Race 3 WIZARD HOME LOANS SIX PACK - C4/5 - 520 The two most favoured runners FLAG THE BANK and CHARLSTON GHOST were slow away and settled well back. CHARLSTON GHOST was then checked on the first corner and never a chance of a placing thereafter and finished in 5th place. FLAG THE BANK was checked on the first bend, again in the back straight and went back to 2nd last and stayed there to the finish.. SEXY BEAST was handy to the first corner but was checked, went back to the rear and finished in last place. FLAG THE BANK L.Ahern Rule 82 Suffered from slight bruising to a hind leg and stood down for 5 days to and including 23.04.07
Race 4 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' SPRINT - C1 - 305 HEALING CRYSTAL ran in from the start and checked PAPAKA and FOG PATCHES who both lost ground and settled at the rear. PAPAKA recovered to finish 4th while FOG PATCHES stayed back and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 5 OFFICEMAX STAKES - C2 - 520 LUKE SAMMY ZAK ran in from the start and crowded COLOUR WASH, SOPHIE HALL and THRILLING SUNNY who all lost ground. JUST A DRIP was very slow away and lost four lengths. SOPHIE HALL ran into the back of SEILATAN on the last bend, dropped back onto JUST A DRIP and they lost several lengths and finished in the last two places.
Race 6 BILL BOYD AND ASSOCIATES SPRINT - C5 - 305 BIGTIME KRACKER was slow to begin and settled at the rear. REGAL PETE moved in on the first corner and checked SURE TED who dropped back onto BIGTIME KRACKER and they lost ground, never recovered and finished in the last two places.
Race 7 KERB AND CONCRETE DASH - C2 - 305 NIAGARA CRESENT dropped back on the bend and caused checks to DREAMS OF VISION, TUGS TIP and HOMEBUSH DIESEL who were forced wide and finished in the last three places.
Race 8 PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS DASH - C4 - 305 VINNYMORE, BIGTIME STORM and FYVIE BELLE were checked on the first turn as outside runners moved in and they dropped back to the rear and filled the last three places at the finish. BIGTIME STORM D.Gough Rule 82 Suffered bruising to a hind leg and stood down for 14 days to and including 02.05.07
Race 9 MANAWATU SOUND SERVICES SPRINT - C2 - 305 TYRONES AWESOME and JEN'S LASS were handy to the first corner but were checked and lost ground with TYRONES AWESOME dropping out to finish last while JEN'S LASS finished in 5th place.
Race 10 DECO ART, LEVIN SPRINT - C2/3 - 305 The winner SWEET SECRET moved in on the first corner and checked CHARLIE CASH who dropped quickly back to last and finished in 2nd last place.
