L.Ahern the Trainer of BIGTIME KRACKER was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when the dog was presented 1.5 kilograms underweight.
WIND SURFER was ordered to undergo a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1 before its next Totalisator start..

Race 1 WELCOME TO WANGANUI GEOFF AND ROZ - C2 - 305 The favourite HOMEBUSH ALLY drew box 8 and raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in 6th place.
Race 2 DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C0f - 520 SWAPPA CRATE and HOSTILE THUNDER collided on the first corner and HOSTILE THUNDER fell heavily. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a fibula bone injury PACEY MACEY went off stride early in the race and dropped away to finish a long last. She was also examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus injury. PACEY MACEY P.Hanover Rule 82 Suffered a gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 19.04.07. HOSTILE THUNDER T.McCracken Rule 82 Fell and suffered a fibula bone injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 12.04.07.
Race 3 KEENAN CONCRETE SIX PACK - C1f - 520 The favourite THRILLING SNIPE was last away and tailed the field throughout to finish at the rear. THRILLING SNIPE was then reluctant to walk back after the race and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. THRILLING HELEN K.Walsh Rule 68 A late scratching due to suffering from gastroenteritis and stood down for 10 days to and including 01.04.07.
Race 4 GUTHRIE BOWRON - C3 - 305 CALL ME CUTE, SWEET SECRET and HOMEBUSH TERRA were checked on the bend and lost all chance of a placing. LILY LONGLEGS ran wide around the bend making contact with DOUBLE HAPPY and they jostled for several strides losing several lengths and they finished in the last two places.
Race 5 MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C2 - 520 All clear.
Race 6 RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ - C2/3 - 520 WIND SURFER was handy to the first corner but eased when pressured from the outside and dropped back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. WIND SURFER was ordered to undertake a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1 before its next Totalisator start.
Race 7 NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #15 FINAL - RESf - 520 HEATHERLEA ROSE moved in on the first corner and tightened THRILLING GUY, JAMES BEE and SMART MIDDY who all lost ground. THRILLING GUY recovered to finish 3rd but JAMES BEE and SMART MIDDY stayed back to finish in the last two places. THRILLING PEARL K.Walsh Rule 64 Suffering from a sprained left carpus and stood down for 10 days to and including 31.03.07.
Race 8 WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C4/5 - 520 MR CLONTARF was checked soon after the start, again on the first corner and for a third time in the back straight and this probably cost the dog a closer placing than 5th.
Race 9 MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C4 - 305 THRILLING JANE and ZAC ATTACK were handy to the first corner but were then checked, dropped back onto GUS THE BUILDER and all three lost their chance and finished well back.
Race 10 THE GRAND HOTEL - C5 - 305 TOKEN DIAMOND was slow to begin losing four lengths and he tailed the field throughout to finish in last place. BIGTIME STORM Ex Manawatu on 21.03.07.
