Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer JT McInerney was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when HOMEBUSH DUNCAN weighed in 1.1 kgs above its last race weight.

| Race 1 | ADVANCE PERFORMANCE SPRINT - C3 - 295 | HOMEBUSH DUNCAN was the slowest to begin from the inside. When trying to improve HOMEBUSH SALLY ran inwards causing HOMEBUSH DUNCAN to hit the running rail. HOMEBUSH SALLY then ran outwards pushing LAGOON LADY and OCTOBER PLACARD wider on the track and lost ground. A post race veterinary check on HOMEBUSH DUNCAN revealed no injury. | Race 2 | BILLS BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C0 - 520 | HOMEBUSH PHOEBE veered inwards sharply into the first bend badly checking BONDI BRINDI, TIME FAULTS and ROAMING FOR GOLD with these four dogs losing all chance. KIM BAXTER was handy to the bend but compounded badly in the run home and finished last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. |
| Race 3 | CONTAINERMAN DASH - C0 - 295 | AINT NO ROYAL and BLACK INN BRAVE were both very slow. The favourite AINT NO ROYAL then ran on to the back of HONEY ROSE when improving into the bend losing momentum. She finished fifth. BLACK INN BRAVE made up ground along the inner to finish a nice fourth. LUCKY LIMESTONE (JT McInerney) deceased. GOLD MERIT (MJ Flipp) right wrist pain. Dog presented. | Race 4 | BARRONS SUPPLIES SPRINT - C1 - 295 | KIWI YOUNG was checked when NURSE RUBY took its line into the first bend with EL AQUILON being forced wide as a result. Both KIWI YOUNG and EL AQUILON finished at the tail of the field. TAMBOOLI (MP Stewart) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 20 March 2007. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 2 April 2007. GROOVY FINANCE finished powerfully once in the clear for its third placing but WHISKY'S LAD remained well back. JACKPOT JACK (C Mitchell) left wrist pain on flexion. Dog presented. | Race 6 | VITA POWER DASH - C0 - 295 | ELLE VOLI checked off TRENDY SON into the bend with WHATA DILEMA being forced very wide around that bend losing its chance. CAPTAIN MCCAW was slow to jump and remained well back. GOLD DOT (MJ Flipp) temperature and off colour. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. | Race 7 | INDEPENDENT CARPETS CRANFORD SPRINT - C2 - 295 | BARDO'S ANGEL was slow away and remained well back. OHOKA FLIRT checked off CLAN MISTY into the bend losing ground and never recovering. |
| Race 8 | EXCEED STAKES - C1 - 520 | COUGARS CRUZIN received a terminal check into the first bend when HOMEBUSH CATH crossed it from an outside draw. He finished seventh. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. TRINITY THUNDA had to be checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH CATH at the end of the back straight but ran on well for its second placing albeit nearly ten lengths off the winner. |
| Race 9 | EXCELSIOR SPORTS BAR & TAB DASH - C1 - 295 | HEAPS HECTIC pulled up quickly after the race. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. BLACK FIZZER (MM Grant) deceased. |
| Race 10 | DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER SPRINT - C3/4 - 295 | AWESOME TOY was checked soon after the start dropping to the rear. He railed up nicely to run into third placing. The eventual winner NOT A WHATA crossed quickly into the first bend slightly checking ROSIE RETURN. This caused a follow on effect with all dogs except AWESOME TOY being suffering interference and losing ground. BURSTING OUT (RD Blackburn) wasa late scatching at kennelling with a cut left hind webbing. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 14 days up to and including 4 April 2007. WHATA DARLING (WJ Cairns) left wrist pain. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 4 April 2007. |
| Race 11 | CANTERBURY GREYHOUND O.T.B DASH - C5 - 295 | Severe tightening into the first bend resulted in REPEAT OFFENDER falling and interfering with SLAVE DRIVER who dropped out. PAINT THE STARS and ZENSU also lost their chances in this incident. A post race veterinary check on REPEAT OFFENDER revealed abrasions to his anus with a sevenday stand down recommended and SLAVE DRIVER received a torn left gracilus with a twenty one day stand down recommended. HOMEBUSH BEE (JT McInerney) left fore second toe sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 30 March 2007. HYPO ROKOCOKO (J&D Fahey) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 20 March 2007. Rule 82.1. 28 days up to and including 16April 2007. SLAVE DRIVER (LJ Waretini) torn left gracilus. | Race 12 | CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP STAKES - C2 - 520 | YOUR TURN was checked into the first bend losing ground. She also received a couple of knocks just prior to the home straight when looking for racing room. She finished a luckless sixth. |
| Race 13 | SHIRLEY TAB STAKES - C4/5 - 520 | LAGOON TALLIS and HOMEBUSH BRADLEY tangled soon after the first bend but didn't lose any ground and finished in the minor placings. Favourite OPAWA ROSE was slow away but never improved finishing a disappointing seventh. |
| Race 14 | BACK HERE TUESDAY DASH - C3/4 - 295 | BONNIE BLINK, TITANIC and PAREORA ANGEL were all inconvenienced into the first bend and ran wide losing all chance. BONNIE BLINK was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a left hin web tear with a fourteen day stand down recommended. HOMEBUSH BUBBLES (JT McInerney) right wrist pain.
