Judicial report: Weather: Overcast J.Coxon the Trainer of MIAMIGO was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.2 kilograms underweight.
J.Coxon the Trainer of RUSTY ROVER was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.2 kilograms underweight.
M.Lozell the Trainer of SMART BART was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.1 kilograms overweight.

Race 1 SPICERS PAPER SPRINT - C1 - 297 The favourite NIAGARA CRESENT was handy to the first corner but was checked and lost several lengths. NIAGARA CRESENT then recovered to finish well for 3rd placing.
Race 2 CLOVERLEA TAVERN & TAB - C0 - 297 All clear.
Race 3 WIZARD HOME LOANS - C2 - 297 DUSTY'S DIAMOND was checked on the first corner and lost ground and possibly the chance of a placing. MIAMIGO was also checked on the first corner, ran wide on the bend and finished in last place.
Race 4 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C1 - 505 BOLD JENNI ran very wide on the first bend and dropped back to finish a long last. BOLD JENNI was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. INFECTIOUS AZZ L.Fornasiere Rule 68 A late scratching due to swelling in a foreleg and stood down for 14 days to and including 03.04.07.
Race 5 C A BOYCE, VET FOXTON - C1 - 297 SMART BART ran very wide over extra ground on the bend and lost all chance of a placing. The favourite SPOTTED ALLEGRO also ran very wide into the straight and this possibly cost the dog a placing.
Race 6 MANAWATU SECURITY SERVICES - C2 - 505 Tightening on the first corner resulted in MCTAGGART being checked and falling. MCTAGGART was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a spike wound. AMANDA CHOICE, MARTY HALL, UNO YOU LIKA and DES'REE were all forced wide in the incident and finished in the last four places. MCTAGGART P.Raven Rule 82 Suffered a spike wound and stood down for 7 days to and including 27.03.07.
Race 7 KERB AND CONCRETE - C2 - 297 SEILATAN, TARTARE SAUCE and HOMEBUSH WESTIE were all checked on the first corner, lost all chance and finished in the last three places.
Race 8 PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C3/4 - 505 ARANUI SPEEDY was recorded as being 1.1 kilograms underweight but due to a miscalculation , the Trainer was not given the opportunity to weigh for a second time and as a result no penalty was imposed. The Steward in charge was not aware of the weight until after the close of kennels. FRANNY HALL and OROUA ROCKER collided entering the back straight, lost several lengths and any chance of a placing.
Race 9 MANAWATU SOUND SERVICES - C4/5 - 297 VINNYMORE and THRILLING MICKEY were checked on the first corner and then collided on the home turn and they finished at the rear of the field. BIGTIME STORM D.Gough Rule 82 Suffered abrasions to a hind leg and stood down for 10 days to and including 30.03.07.
Race 10 DECO ART, LEVIN SIX PACK - C4 - 297 All clear. ROCKING QUEEN L & R Prince Rule 82 Suffered a toe injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 17.04.07. Now retired.
