Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer MJ Flipp was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 68.2 when she presented her dogs late for kennelling. A mitigating factor in assessing the amount of the fine was the presence of road works on the main road which added extra time for the journey.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE DASH - C3 - 295 The start of this race was delayed by five minutes due to the late running of a harness race. Favourite WHATA DARLING was slowest to jump and settled last but received a nice rails run to finish into fourth. HOMEBUSH WHO was tightened into the bend and lost ground only beating one home.
Race 2 CONTAINERMAN STAKES - C2 - 520 A post race veterinary check on OPAWA MUSIC revealed a swollen left wrist flexor ligament with a fourteen day stand down recommended. RAGIN CAJUN (MJ Flipp) was a late scratching at kennelling with a right tensor fascia lata tear. Rule 68.26. 14 days up to and including 15 March 2007. OPAWA MUSIC (J&D Fahey) left wrist flexor ligament swollen. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 15 March 2007.
Race 3 KOLORFUL KANVAS SPRINT - C3 - 295 CLAN MISTY, HOMEBUSH JADE and SMART WINK were all tightened into the bend and lost their chances with SMART WINK the worst affected being checked back to last where it stayed.
Race 4 FLAIR STAKES - C1 - 520 KOSTYA BALE, HOMEBUSH HECKLE and HOMEBUSH VIEW were all tightened when RICHMOND BOB ran inwards into the bend. These dogs all lost their chances although KOSTYA BALE made up a stack of ground to finish fourth. TESTA BALE (AC Roberts) stood down at Christchurch GRC on 28 February 2007 with a sprained right wrist. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 9 March 2007.
Race 5 NUTRI-ZING SPRINT - C4 - 295 Into the bend BURSTING OUT checked out off MULISHA BALE with a resultant check to TO CASUAL who lost ground. Shortly after HOMEBUSH BELLA dragged HOMEBUSH BEE down from behind with both dogs losing their chances. TO CASUAL faltered in the run to the judge. A post race veterinary check revealed a fractured right hock with a twenty eight day stand down recommended. TO CASUAL (GA Cleeve) right hock fracture. Rule 82.1. 28 days up to and including 29 March 2007.
Race 6 DAVE BUSCH MEMORIAL - C4 - 520 LAGOON TALLIS and HOMEBUSH THORN were slow away but both improved quickly around the field into the first turn as trouble occurred closer in. That trouble was caused by SYDNEY HAVOC crossing quickly from its outside box tightening BURN THE PEG, HOMEBUSH BUBBLES and HOLA CHICA. These dogs all lost ground with only HOLA CHICA making ground in the final stages.
Race 7 CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP STAKES - C4/5 - 520 All clear.
Race 8 BARRY FREE 65TH BIRTHDAY DASH - C2 - 295 HOMEBUSH CARLIN was handy but wide into the bend but stayed wide on the track and dropped out to last.
Race 9 DUAL CODE WEDNESDAY 7 MARCH STAKES - C3 - 520 Second favourite RAILS BOOKMAKER hit the lead in the straight and was run down late to finish fourth. A post race veterinary check revealed severe cramping.
Race 10 ROSO'S 'SUPER' SPRINT - C5 - 295 ZIGGY WAR CRY was last to jump and remained last throughout. PAINT THE STARS received a terminal check into the first bend when squeezed by LIPSLIDE on its outside and WHATA TOWN on its inner. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. ROYAL FERN (GA Cleeve) right triceps tear. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 21 days up to and including 17 March 2007.
