Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Weather: Fine Licenced Handler Mr Denis Schofield was officially warned for being late for presentation under the provisions of Rule 71 .2.
Following the running of Race 9 the Stewards conducted an inquiry into the performance of Thrilling Lucy ( K Walsh)and in particular an incident which occurred on the first bend.
The initial video coverage indicated a possible breach of Rule 80 . 1 (a) and this greyhound was ordered to undergo a post race veterinary examination which detected no injury.
The authorised handler of Thrilling Lucy Mr L Phillip's was shown the video coverage several times after hearing his opinion the The Stewards decided no to proceed with a charge against the greyhound on this occasion however did impose a satisfactory trial under the provisions of Rule 81.1.
The Stewards also took into account that there was no head on video coverage available of the incident and it was possible that the greyhound was trying to take evasive action by endevouring to move outwards on the track and in doing so became unbalanced and entangled with Another Lloyd which gave the impression of having marred the running of that runner
Following the running of race No 9 The Stewards under the provisions of Rule 81 .1 ordered that Thrilling Lucy undergo a Satisfactory Trial prior to nomination for racing
