Judicial report: Weather: Cloudy L.Fornasiere the Trainer of ASTRO NERONE was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 89.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.2 kilograms overweight.
D.Mathews the Trainer of OUR FREDDIE was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 89.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.5 kilograms underweight.
D.Little the Trainer of EARLY SUNSHINE was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 89.1 for breach of Rule 111.6 when the dog escaped from a vehicle and ran loose on the track.

Race 2 CLOVERLEA TAVERN & TAB SPRINT - C0 - 297 The favourite GRACIE ROSE began awkwardly and lost ground and then ran wide on the bend and finished in 6th place. RIDDLE INN ran very wide on the bend over extra ground and finished several lengths last. SWAPPA CRATE C.Morris Rule 64 Has a shoulder muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 09.03.07.
Race 3 WIZARD HOME LOANS STAKES - C1 - 505 The favourite GUNNADOO IT led early and was still handy on the home turn but faded in the run home to finish in 5th place. It was the dogs first run beyond a sprint distance. ALBION LANE A & J Hall Rule 64 Has a toe injury and was stood down for 28 days to and including 27.03.07. EL GRINGO L.Fornasiere Rule 82 Suffered a groin muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 28.03.07.
Race 4 PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C2 - 297 All clear. RALPH M.Gardner Rule 64 Has a toe injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 09.03.07.
Race 5 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C2 - 297 Tightening at the start resulted in checks to several runners with ROURKES DRIFT, GRUNDY and SWAPSY being the most affected and they finished in the last three places. COLOUR WASH G.Caffell Rule 82 Suffered a quadricep muscle injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 14.03.07.
Race 6 MANAWATU SOUND SERVICES - C2 - 505 COLOUR WASH who was one of the better supported runners was well back throughout and finished last. COLOUR WASH was checked by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a quadricep muscle injury.
Race 7 C A BOYCE, VET FOXTON SPRINT - C3 - 297 BIGTIME RISK ran in in the back straight and collided with MR GULLIVER. BIGTIME RISK then moved in on the bend and caused checks to MR GULLIVER and FANTASY SHIFTER and all three lost ground and finished well back. HAMMER MY HEART F.Manclark Rule 64 Has a hock injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 27.03.07. HOMEBUSH WESTIE Ex Wanganui on 27.02.07.
Race 8 MANAWATU SECURITY SERVICES - C4 - 297 NO WARNING was tightened and checked back to last soon after the start and he never recovered and finished in last place.
Race 9 DECO ART, LEVIN - C4/5 - 505 EARL MCROBERTS was checked soon after the start and again on the first corner, went back to last and stayed there to the finish. GUS THE BUILDER M.Beeson Club scratching due to placement in a 505 metre race instead of a 297 metre race. This occurred due to a misunderstanding between the Trainer and the N.Z.G.R.A
Race 10 KERB AND CONCRETE - C5 - 297 CRUZMORE was one of the first away but then dropped back quickly and finished several lengths last. CRUZMORE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus muscle injury. BIGTIME EXPLORER was disputing the lead on the first turn but was checked when BIGTIME STORM moved in to the rail and she lost two lengths. BIGTIME EXPLORER recovered to finish in 3rd place. CRUZMORE I.Moore Rule 82 Suffered a gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 28.03.07.
Race 11 EKETAHUNA TAKEAWAYS - C1 - 297 BOLD JENNI moved in on the first corner and checked TUAMORE, BUG CATCHER and WOFTAMS TIP who all lost ground. BUG CATCHER was checked again on the bend and dropped back to last and stayed there to the finish.
