Judicial report: Weather: Fine Stewards have completed their inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the scratching by A.C. Nightingale of Deadly Prince (W.Steele) from Race 3 at the Waikato GRC meeting held on 14.02.07. Having considered all relevant information no further action will be taken on this occasion.

An objection lodged by Trainer, N.P.Green, following the running of Race 7, was deemed to be invalid due to the grounds for the objection not having been clearly defined within an acceptable time.

Race 1 WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE - C2 - 375 Spring Bundy and Remo Blaster were the slowest to begin. Jacki Flex and Mochaccino came together at the start with both being checked slightly. Ghost Nugget moved inwards at the start and checked itself and Fancy Lee. Entering the first turn a lack of racing room resulted in severe checks to Ghost Nugget and Fancy Lee.
Race 2 MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 457 Home Loan Blues was the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Rialto Man moved inwards resulting in tightening and checks to itself and Satsuma. On the bend Rialto Man moved inwards to the rail severely checking itself and Intention Known.
Race 3 TAUWHARE - C0 - 375 Entering the first turn Rialto Gun moved inwards causing tightening and a severe check to Ramrod Reason which then rebounded outwards and severely checked Rialto Rosie, Our Spring, Galactico and Black Mitzi. A post race veterinary examination of Our Spring detected an injury requiring a 7day stand down from racing. Our Spring (D.M.Smith). Broken right fore dew-claw. Rule 82.1. 7 days to and including 28.02.07.
Race 4 TAMAHERE STAKES - C1 - 457 There was no 'head on' coverage of this race available from TAB Trackside. Romano Reason was the slowest to begin. Shanti raced very wide around the bend. Thrilling Patsy (N.Udy). Strained right biceps insection tendon. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days to and including 02.03.07.
Race 5 T.A.B. PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE DASH - C1/2 - 375 Joebees Jet was the slowest to begin. Ashbourne Falcon reared as the boxes opened and lost a length. On the first turn Ashbourne Falcon was tightened and severely checked when racing at the rear. Smart Bart and Santas Prince raced very wide around the bend and into the home straight with Santas Prince running on strongly for 2nd. Homebush Lee (P.Chouinard). Sprained right front lateral toe. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.13. 14 days to and including 07.03.07.
Race 6 HAUTAPU SPRINT - C1 - 375 Hoksilato ran outwards at the start and caused checks to itself, Crowded House and Call Me Loyal. Call Me Loyal raced very wide around the bend and into the home straight finishing 7th.
Race 7 BRUNTWOOD DASH - C4/5 - 375 Thrilling Power was marginally slow to begin. Ashbourne Boss, Super Deal and Stacey's Way came together at the start with all being checked slightly. Super Deal (D.W.Mathews). Mild sprain to second toe left fore. Rule 82.1. 10 days to and including 03.03.07.
Race 8 SUPERIOR CHUNKY DOG ROLL STAKES - C2/3 - 457 There was no coverage of the start or 'head on' available from TAB Trackside. Nearing and entering the first turn Dream On Cyrus moved inwards and caused severe tightening and checks to all runners except itself. Tent Top (D.W.Mathews). In season. No vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.10. 28 days to and including 18.03.07.
Race 9 RACEWAY SPRINT - C5 - 375 Comical Ali moved outwards and Who Nose inwards after 20 mtrs causing tightening and severs checks to Who Nose, Commands and Nowhere To Run. Comical Ali raced wide for most of the journey.
Race 10 WAIKATO RACEPIX STAKES - C3 - 375 Mr Miargi and Marble Nugget were the slowest to begin. General tightening after 15 mtrs resulted in severe checks to Time Over Boots, Miss MacSteele, Togetherness and Marble Nugget. San Shin (D.L.Annette). Pad injury. No vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.14. 28 days to and including 19.03.07. Maxine's Beauty (D.W.Mathews). In season. No vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.10. 28 days to and including 20.03.07.
Race 11 RACING HERE 15 MARCH @ NOON - C4/5 - 457 Thrilling Hubba, Ash's Assassin and Winsome State were the slowest to begin. Nearing the first turn Thrilling Hubba ran outwards and severely checked Ash's Assassin. On the first turn Top Fancy moved inwards to the rail and severely checked Charlston State.
