Judicial report: Weather: Fine P.Clark the Trainer of CLASSY BREEZE was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 89.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.3 kilograms overweight.
J & J Tapiki the Trainers of BIGTIME JIM were fined $ 50-00 under Rule 89.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.5 kilograms overweight.

Race 1 METEOR PRINTERS - C4 - 305 THRILLING SNOOP began very awkwardly and lost several lengths and all chance. DEADLOCK moved out on the first corner and checked THRILLING MICKEY onto BIGTIME JULIE who lost several lengths and finished well back with THRILLING SNOOP.
Race 2 THE RADIO WORKS - C2 - 520 THIS TIME BOOTS and ROYAL TAP bumped together for a few strides on the first corner and lost momentum and some ground. KAIMAI GOLD Ex Manawatu on 15.02.07 BONNIE CREEK Ex Manawatu on 15.02.07. ASTRO NERONE Ex Manawatu on 15.02.07.
Race 3 SPICERS PAPER - C5 - 305 All clear.
Race 4 GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C3/4 - 520 The favourite RUSHMORE REASON and COCKNEY ASSASSIN were tightened and checked on the first corner, went back to near the rear and they never recovered and finished out of the placings. FANTASY SHIFTER Ex Manawatu on 15.02.07.
Race 5 MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C5 - 305 THRILLING FLIRT jumped out and JAMES BEE jumped in at the start and this resulted in MICHELAC being tightened between them and he went back to last and stayed well back throughout. One of the favourites REGAL PETE was one of the last away and he then raced onto the heels of JAMES BEE approaching the home straight, lost momentum for a few strides and finished up in 6th place at the line. END ZONE D.Schofield Rule 64 Has a toe injury, was presented and stood down for 21 days to and including 09.03.07.
Race 6 NZRS FINAL #13 - RESdf - 755 All clear. PATRICIA SHERRY O.Marron Rule 64 Suffering from a hock injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 16.03.07. ESPADRILLE O.Marron Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 16.03.07.
Race 7 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C5 - 520 MOOD SWINGER was tightened in the race to the first corner, struck the rail and fell heavily. MOOD SWINGER was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with cuts and abrasions. One of the favourites IRRITABILITY was also tightened early in the race, went back to last and stayed there to the finish. HIGH ACE L.Ahern Rule 64 Suffering from a hip muscle injury, was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 20.02.07 MOOD SWINGER S.Clark Rule 82 Fell and suffered cuts and abrasions and stood down for 21 days to and including 10.03.07.
Race 8 WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 520 FANCY TRICK, WHATA ASSASSIN and BONIFIED jostled together for several strides on the first corner and dropped back to the rear losing all chance of a placing. SUPREME TEDDY D.Schofield Rule 68 A late scratching due to a pad injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 27.02.07.
Race 9 RUSH HIRE - C2 - 305 DUSTY'S DIAMOND was a late scratching after 7.30 due to the Trainer believing the dog was suffering from some pain in a hind leg. DUSTY'S DIAMOND was presented to the raceday Vet who could not detect any injury and as a result it was considered to be a scratching without valid reason and DUSTY'S DIAMOND was stood down for 28 days. No charges were preferred against the Trainer L.Fornasiere on this occasion but she was spoken to advisedly by the Steward in Charge. JO BLOGGS ran out on the first turn and pushed HOMEBUSH DIESEL wide on the bend and they finished in the last two places. ANDWYN Ex Auckland on 15.02.07. DUSTY'S DIAMOND L.Fornasiere Rule 64.5 A late scratching but no injury detected by the Vet and stood down for 28 days to and including 15.03.07. HOMEBUSH TERRA Gained a start in Race 2.
Race 10 KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C2/3 - 305 UNO A WHISPER and HOMEBUSH WESTIE collided soon after jumping from the boxes and then twice more in the back straight, dropped out to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
