Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer C.J. Morris admitted a breach of rule 69.11 in that she presented the dog Double Happy to race in race four 1.3 kg`s down from its previous start on the 28.01.07 of 32.7kg`s . A $50.00 fine was imposed.
An inquiry was opened into the circumstances surrounding the scratching of the first reserve (Baxters General) from race two at 7.05 am on the 1.02.07.

Race 1	MAHURANGI OLIVE NURSURIES DISTANCE - C0d - 630	Billy Baxter was very slow to leave the boxes. Soon after the start Romano Reason got on the heels of the dogs in front of him and in taking evasive action carted himself and Billy Baxter wide costing them all chance in the race. Dancing Banshee was a late scratching on veterinary advice. Criteria (T A Green) Rule 64.12 10 days standown to an including 10.02.07 vet cert supplied the dog is suffering from Chronic Flexor Tendon (stopper) tendenitis.. Dancing Banshee (P.B.Freeman) Late Scratched on veterinary advice Rule 82.1 14 days standown to an including 14.02.07. (Pain on flexion of left upper leg, torn neck and shoulder muscles.).
Race 2	TOKOROA NEW WORLD STAKES - C1 - 457	Soon after the start Baxters Lad and Dabnye Shiraz came together for several strides jostling each other both recovered to figure in the finish. There was a one minute delay to this race at the request of the T A B. . Thrilling Swift(N.Udy) dog presented Rule 64.13 10 days standown to an including 10.02.07 Strained Tendons Left Metacarpal area. Baxters General(J.T.McInerney) An inquiry was opened into the circumstances surrounding the scratching of this dog.
Race 3	PUTARURU ARMS MOTOR INN - C2 - 375	On leaving the boxes Kapai Rita ran out into the line of Miss Vee Eight (fav)and caused her to check back to the rear of the field. Coming up the the first turn Miss Vee Eight struck trouble again when there was general tightning of the field but recovered to run on well for third. .
Race 4	CLUBHOUSE CAFE & SPORTS BAR - C3 - 375	Role Model was very slow away and seemed to be galloping a bit awkwardly in behind , a veterinary check found no abnomalities--. Smooth Conquest (fav) was very awkwardly away from the boxes and raced in the rear thereafter--. Double Happy was 1.3 kg down from its last racing weight trainer was charged under rule 69.11. . .
Race 5	TODD MCPHEE CRANE HIRE - C2 - 457	Thrilling Fury (fav) was very slow away but recovered well to gain an inside run and win. Coming up to the first turn Hot Dickadee ran out across the field and caused tightning to Music Lesson ,This Time Boots ,Tent Top and to a lessor extent Our Freddie causing them to lose ground at that point.
Race 6	POCKETS 8 BALL CLUB SPRINT - C5 - 375	Entering the first turn Wizelee in crossing to the rail caused End Zone (fav) to be severly checked with End Zone going down on his haunches twice and losing all chance he raced in the rear thereafter. In this incident Prince Flex , Nitro Lad and Thrilling Ollie all had to take evasive action to clear End Zone and they raced wide around the bend into the straight losing valuable ground. .
Race 7	TOKOROA VETERINARY SERVICES DASH - C1 - 375	As they left the boxes Another Beauty in heading for the rail caused checks to Fancy Lee, Bigtime Snowie, and Our Delta. Entering the first turn Another Beauty was still trying to cross to the rail and Our Delta was trying to come out from the rail Hoksilato was severly checked back at that point . Soon after entering the first turn Kapai Boof raced around the field and in trying to cross to the rail hampered Black Elly who was in front at that stage causing her to lose ground and finish towards the rear. Another Beauty was examined by the veterinary surgeon and found to have an injured hock requiring a 21 day standown. . Another Beauty (S.C Mann) Rule 82.1 21 days standown to an including 21.02.07 Injury to Strained Right Hock.
Race 8	SOUTH WAIKATO CUP - C5 - 457	Coming up to the first turn the field where racing in a tight bunch Thrilling Tiger, Whiskey Boy, Micki, Thrilling Lucy, and Cawbourne Frank where all tightned to varying degrees with Thrilling Lucy being severly checked and Investigate getting the backwash of this incident . The (fav) Micki was able to clear this incident best and went on to win. Winsome Show (J&D Fahey) Rule 64.12 14 days standown to an including 12.02.07 injury to Left Gracilus Bruise. Vet cert supplied.
Race 9	SHOTZ 8 BALL CLUB DASH - C4 - 375	Gunna Flex and Deadlock where slowest away. Deadlock and Stacey`s Way came together for a stride soon after the start. Deadlock could not get clear racing room the whole way around the turn and the bend into the straight. The (fav) Nowhere To Run raced wide the whole journey but still ran on strongly to win. A veterinary check was done on Dreamaqueen at the trainers request and she was found to have an injury requiring a seven day standown. Gunna Flex was also given a veterinary examination at the trainers request no adnormalities where found . Dreamaqueen (H.R. Bond ) Rule 82.1 7 days standown to an including 7.02.07.( Injury Trauma To Muscles Of Left Shoulder.).
Race 10	RODEWALD, HART & BROWN LTD STAKES - C4/5 - 457	Entering the first turn Thrilling Buzz who was keeping a straight line into the turn was severly checked when Mulisha Bale raced around to take up a position closer to the rail Thrilling Buzz was turned sideways in this incident and never recovered the lost ground finishing towards the rear. The (fav) Asafa Bale raced wide the whole journey but hung on well to win. . Winsome State (DD Schofield) dog presented Rule 64.13 7 days standown to an including 7.02.07 injury Torn Left Hind Pad.
