Judicial report: Weather: Fine / warm Trainer H.R.Bond was charged with a breach of Rule 68.6 for being 10 minutes late when kennelling for Race 9. A previous warning under this Rule had been issued to Mr Bond at the AGRC meeting on 21.12.06. Mr Bond admitted the breach and a fine of $100.00 imposed.

Race 5. Smart Bart was presented to race 1.1kg overweight (33.2kg) from it's previous race start on 19.01.07 (32.1kg). Authorized Handler, Mrs M.Lozell, admitted a breach of Rule 69.11 and the mandatory fine of $50.00 was imposed.

Race 1 WAIKATO RACE PIX DASH - C2/3 - 375 Hypo Lomu and Role Model were standing upright when boxes opened and were slow to begin. Jacki Flex ran inwards at the start and inconvenienced Mr Miargi. Entering the first turn Jacki Flex moved inwards and severely checked itself, Not Waiting and Hypo Lomu. Not Waiting then moved outwards and checked Mr Miargi and Mochaccino. On the first bend Not Waiting moved outwards, contacted the hind quarters of and severely checked Mochaccino.
Race 2 LEAMINGTON DISTANCE - C1/2d - 630 Entering the first turn Thrilling Match moved outwards and severely checked itself and Fantasy Shifter. Entering the home straight Heza Penske and Remo Blaster came together with Remo Blaster becoming unbalanced for several strides before rallying well to finish 3rd.
Race 3 MATANGI MAIDEN DASH - C0 - 375 There was no complete 'head on' coverage of this race available from TAB Trackside. Feng Shui and Satsuma were the slowest to begin. Manatek West ran very wide on the bend and into the home straight before moving closer to the rail in the run to the finish. About To Boogy (P.B.Freeman). Strained off-side front toe digit 5 . No vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.14. 28 days to and including 21.02.07.
Race 4 CLUB HOUSE CAFE & SPORTS BAR STAKES - C1 - 457 Tee Shirt and Gatlin Breeze were the slowest to begin with Tee Shirt then making up ground quickly and strongly to lead before the first turn and retain it to the finish. Token Enforcer, Riconiak and Thrilling Lazer came together shortly after the start with all being checked slightly. Fancy Trick (D.D.Schofield). Skin off fourth toe right hind foot. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.13. 7 days to and including 01.02.07.
Race 5 TAUWHARE SPRINT - C1 - 375 Kapai Boof and Ryans Thunder came together for a stride at the start. Smart Bart (M.J.Lozell). Torn pad left hind foot and graze digit 5. Rule 82.1. 10 days to and including 04.02.07.
Race 6 COMMITTEE STAKES - C2/3 - 457 Seilatan, Papamoa Lass and Thrilling Power were the slowest to begin. Thrilling Ted ran inwards and Willandra Bale outwards at the start which inconvenienced Papamoa Lass. Entering the first turn Winsome Gypsy moved outwards and caused severe checks to itself, Thrilling Power, Willandra Bale and to a lesser extent Seilatan.
Race 7 GRASSROOTS SPORTING TRUST SPRINT - C2 - 375 Tahuna Teazer was the slowest to begin. Big Archie and Smart Waves came together after 15 mtrs. Nearing the first turn Hola A Hypo, Big Archie and Smart Waves came together. Entering the first turn Spring Bundy and Thrilling Fury came together with the latter being checked.
Race 8 RACEWAY SPRINT - C5 - 375 Super Deal and Nitro Lad were the slowest to begin. Prince Flex ran inwards after the start and checked Ivan Evans. Nearing the first turn general tightening resulted in checks to Lady Tandia, End Zone (winner) and Thrilling Ollie. Entering the first turn Thrilling Ollie moved outwards and severely checked Ivan Evans which in turn also moved outwards slightly and severely checked Nitro Lad which dropped to the rear and never improved thereafter.
Race 9 T A B PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE SPRINT - C4 - 375 Gentle Lee was slow to begin and then ran outwards on the home turn and severely checked itself and Maxine's Beauty. Dreamaqueen and Charlston Chill came together for a stride at the start. Charlston Chill changed ground outwards across the heels of Dreamaqueen on the home turn and lost 2 lengths at a crucial stage.
Race 10 DUAL CODE HERE THURSDAY 1 FEB - C4/5 - 457 Pancho Gonzales was the slowest to begin and was always at the rear thereafter. Victory Chant ran wide on the bend. Thrilling Hugo (K.Walsh). Surgery on left hind foot digit 5. No vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.14. 28 days to and including 20.02.07
