Race 1	WAIRARAPA TIMES AGE SPRINT - C0 - 290	FOOTESEA LASS was checked on the first corner, went back to last and stayed there to the finish. THUNDER BLUNDER ran wide around the first corner, lost ground and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 2	MIKE BOYD STAKES - C0 - 545	OUR HANNAH ran in from the start and checked MARIOS MATE and BIDNA MOHAN who dropped back to the rear and BIDNA MOHAN then dropped right out and pulled up in the back straight. BIDNA MOHAN was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury at that time. ALBION LANE was checked on the first corner and dropped back onto MARIOS MATE who tailed the field from there to the finish.
Race 3	MIDWEEK DASH - C1 - 290	ROB ROY was away well but was checked twice on the first turn and dropped back quickly to last and never recovered.
Race 4	DAVE AMUNDSEN STAKES - C1/2 - 545	All clear. DUSTY NERO Gained a start in race 13. CALM OSTI Gained a start in race 11
Race 5	HOAR & SONS - C2/3 - 290	RALPH was checked on the bend and dropped back to 2nd last place and stayed there to the finish.
Race 6	P & B ENGINEERING - C2 - 290	TRASIT led to the first corner but collided with NO WARNING and dropped back through the field to finish in last place. CATCH CADDY raced onto the heels of MYSTIC DANCER on the first corner, dropped back causing a check to RAINIING MEN and they never recovered and finished well back.
Race 7	HANSELL'S OLD FASHION FOODS - C3/4 - 545	FANTASY SHIFTER, PATRICIA SHERRY and JUST A DRIP bumped together on the first corner and lost momentum for a few strides. OPAWA LIZ D.Amundsen Rule 64 In a seasonal condition and stood down for 28 days to and including 15.02.07. CANONGATE Ex Wanganui on 18.01.07
Race 8	KEINZLEY AGVETS - C2/3 - 290	PEEL RIDGE SUE moved in slightly on the home turn and HOMEBUSH BITE was checked and dropped out quickly to finish several lengths last. HOMEBUSH BITE suffered a serious hock injury in the incident and was euthanased by the Vet. TALKABOUT THAT Ex Auckland on 17.01.07 HOMEBUSH BITE T.McCracken Rule 82 Suffered a fractured hock and was euthanased.
Race 9	MASTERTON A & P ASSOCIATION - C1 - 290	SHANGHAI was last away and then ran wide on the bend and finished in last place. CADMUS was checked on the first corner, went back to last and stayed well back.
Race 10	BELL FAMILY SPRINT - C1 - 290	LITTLE GYMNIST and HOMEBUSH TYSON were checked back to the rear on the first corner and they never recovered and finished at the rear. CALM ILLUSION P.Clark Rule 64 Suffering from an eye injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 03.02.07
Race 11	ANNIVERSARY STAKES - HEAT 1 - C2q - 545 Heat 1	The start was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of T.A.B. control. JUDGEMENTAL galloped on the heels of OWNEY JOE TARR on the first corner and ASTRO NERONE was pushed out onto KAIMAI GOLD and all those runners lost ground. JUDGEMENTAL dropped out to finish several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. ACCORD Ex Addington on 16.01.07.
Race 12	GOUGH FAMILY SPRINT - C4/5 - 290	This race was also started 2 minutes late at the request of the T.A.B. VINNYMORE and HOMEBUSH DASHER were slow to begin, settled at the rear and stayed well back. SEXY ASSASSIN T.McCracken Rule 64 Suffering from a wrist injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 13.02.07.
Race 13	ANNIVERSARY STAKES - HEAT 2 - C2q - 545 Heat 1	SEILATAN ran in on the first corner and checked BUFFALO SOLDIER who then rolled away from the rail and bumped DUSTY NERO and they all lost ground and finished well back. HOMEBUSH LUKE Club scratching.
Race 14	COME AGAIN 28TH JANUARY - C4/5 - 290	REBEL ALLIANCE began very awkwardly and lost four lengths. IMA FREEMAN, RUSTY ROVER and THRILLING FLYNN were checked on the bend and dropped out to the rear. THRILLING FLYNN continued to lose ground and finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet, found to have a hock injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 17.02.07. THRILLING FLYNN D.Macauley Rule 82 Suffered a hock injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 17.02.07
