Judicial report: Weather: Fine Handler, A. McCook was reminded of the requirements of Rule 66.4 (Written authority to handle a greyhound in the absence of the Trainer and Owner).

Race 8. Ella Lee (B.C.Dann) underwent a veterinary examination at the 375mtr starting point after becoming loose momentarily between leaving the parade ring area and reaching the track. The greyhound was cleared to race and finished 4th. Following consultation with the Parade Official the incident was deemed to be accidental.

Race 1	LEAMINGTON DISTANCE - C1/2d - 630	Cockny Code had drifted to the rear by the first turn then made up some ground before finishing last, 3 3/4 lengths from the 7th placegetter. A post race veterinary examination detected injuries requiring a 14 day stand down from racing. Thrilling Match moved outwards slightly entering the first turn and checked Cheeky Bonnie. Remo Blaster moved outwards slightly nearing the first bend and hampered Remo Blaster slightly. Cockny Code (D.D.Schofield). Cut under right eye, bleeding from left hind lateral toe and pain in both hind legs on flexion. Rule 82.1. 14 days to and including 01.02.07 (Registration papers to be presented to Stewards for endorsement).
Race 2	MATANGI MAIDEN DASH - C0 - 375	Home Loan Blues was standing upright as the boxes opened and was slow to begin before making up ground wide and finishing 6th. Miss Summer Rose ran inwards at the start checking itself and Kapai Roco. Nearing and entering the first turn Kapai Roco and Creek Diamond came together for several strides with both being checked slightly.
Race 3	CLUB HOUSE CAFE & SPORTS BAR STAKES - C1 - 457	Thrilling Turbo and Fancy Trick were the slowest to begin. Nearing the first turn Thrilling Ruby moved inwards and into the path of Aria Allen with both being severely checked. Entering the first turn Tee Shirt moved inwards to the rail tightening and checking Dabyne Shiraz. Nearing the home turn Tee Shirt endeavoured to move outwards off the rail and checked Thrilling Ted (winner) in the process before changing ground outwards on entering the home straight.
Race 4	WAIKATO RACE PIX DASH - C2/3 - 375	Hypo Lomu was denied racing room at the start. Nearing the first turn Miss MacSteele and Big Archie came together with both being checked. Thrilling Wilma ran wide on the home turn when at the rear.
Race 5	TAUWHARE SPRINT - C1 - 375	There was no 'head on' coverage of this race available from TAB Trackside. Black Elly was tightened and checked at the start. On Angels Wings moved outwards on the bend and checked Ryans Thunder slightly.
Race 6	SUPERIOR CHUNKY DOG ROLLS STAKES - C5 - 457	Thrilling Hugo and Winsome Gem were the slowest to begin. Thrilling Lucy ran inwards at the start and checked Charlston State slightly. Entering the first turn Thrilling Buzz moved outwards and collided with the hind quarters of Winsome Gem which was severely checked. Nearing the home turn Thrilling Hugo moved inwards to the rail tightening and checking Winsome Gem slightly.
Race 7	GRASSROOTS SPORTING TRUST SPRINT - C4 - 375	Richfield Reason was the slowest to begin. Commands and Thrilling Mickey jostled for several strides at the start. Entering the first turn general tightening resulted in checks to Maxine's Beauty, Commands and Thrilling Mickey. Richfield Reason and Thrilling Mickey came together for several strides on the bend. Plenty Of Dash moved outwards for a wide running position in the home straight and carted Nowhere To Run with it.
Race 8	RACEWAY SPRINT - C5 - 375	Ella Lee underwent a pre race veterinary examination at the starting point after becoming loose momentarily on the way to the start and was cleared to race. Super Deal, Ella Lee and Gentle Lee were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Rhani Reason moved inwards and checked Thrilling Mike. Thrilling Mike and Gentle Lee ran very wide on the home turn.
Race 9	T A B PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C2/3 - 457	Thrilling Chance, Thrilling Power and What Appeal were the slowest to begin. Thrilling Chance and Hot Dickadee came together after 40 mtrs with both being checked slightly. Entering the first turn Tent Top and Thrilling Power collided, severely checked and in a backwash of interference Hot Dickadee, Thrilling Chance and Mochaccino were also severely checked. A post race veterinary examination of Mochaccino detected no injury.
Race 10	RACING HERE NEXT FRIDAY NIGHT JAN 26 - C4 - 457	Thrilling Tiger was the slowest to begin. Augusta Allen ran inwards at the start and checked Thrilling Jen. Bigtime Julie ran outwards after 20 mtrs and checked Willandra Bale. Entering the first turn Bigtime Julie moved outwards and severely checked itself, Thrilling Jen and Augusta Allen. Nearing and on the home turn Augusta Allen and Bigtime Julie came together with both being checked on both occasions. Thrilling Jen ran very wide on the home turn when at the rear. Ash's Assassin (G.B.Darcy) Cut web right hind foot. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days to and including 26.01.07..
