Judicial report: Weather: fine Stewards inspected the track prior to this meeting commencing as per normal procedure and spoke to the track curator. The track was inspected on at least five occasions due to the number of pad injuries sustained at this meeting club management were advised of the Stewards concerns and indicated to the Stewards that remedial work would be carried out prior to the next meeting.
Every effort was made by track maintenance officials to prevent pad injuries by applying large quantities of water to the track between every race. This action was not assisted by the hot and windy weather.

Race 1	DESTINATION SUMMER HOLIDAY RACING DASH - C0 - 318	Thrilling Helen and That Bloke were the slowest to begin. Midget Racer ran out as the field was released and checked itself when this runner contacted Nochipin Me, forcing Nochipin Me to make contact with New Clear Power. As the filed raced into the first turn That Bloke made contact with Thrilling Helen causing Thrilling Helen to lose a length at this point of the race. Nochipin Me and New Clear Power were post race vet checked with both of these runners suffering Pad injuries requiring a 7 day stand down from racing Thrilling Helen was pre race vet checked and cleared to race.. Tiodi ( A Cleaver) Late Scratching In SeasonVet certificate supplied Rule 64,9 28 days to and including 10 02 07 New Clear Power ( ( K Braithwaite) L Hind Pad Graze Rule 82 1 7 days to and including 20 01 07. Nochipin Me ( L Nixon) L Fore & L Hind Main Pad Graze Rule 82 1 7 days to and including 20 01 07.
Race 2	JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS DASH - C4 - 318	Mr. Miagi and Gunna Flex were the slowest to begin. After the start Charleston Chill ran in and made contact with Cheap both these runners were checked in this incident. Cheap was forced onto Delta Belle which was checked in this incident. Stately Conquest ran out after the start and contacted Delta Belle both of these runners were checked in this incident. Racing into the first turn Mr. Miagi ran out checking itself, Cheap and Charlston Chill. Delta Belle was post race vet checked and was found to have suffered a Left Hind Main Pad graze requiring a 10 day stand down from racing. Cheap was post race Vet cheked and found to have suffered a L Hind Digit 4 P1-P2 Dislocated Toe also Main Pad Graze requiring a 42 day stand down from racing. Gunna Flex was post race vet checked and found to have suffered an injury to the Left hind main pad requiring a 7 day stand down from racing. Delta Belle ( D D Schofield) L Hind Main Pad Graze Rule 82 1 10 days to and including 23 01 07 Gunna Flex ( G N Pomeroy) L Hind Main Pad Graze Rule 82 1 7 days to and including 20 01 07 Cheap ( N P Green) L Hind Digit 4 P1 P2 Dislocated Toe & Main Pad Graze Rule 82 1 42 days to and including 24 02 07.
Race 3	BOUNCE & PLAY STAKES - C0 - 527	Intention Known And Gatlin Ghost were the slowest to begin. Gatlin Ghost racing in a rearward position was checked as the field entered the back straight when Intention Known cut down to the rail. Gatlin Ghost was post race vet checked - no stand down.
Race 4	THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL DASH - C5 - 318	Rhani Reason was the slowest to begin. As the field raced into the first turn End Zone came out slightly and checked Stooge which dropped back and made contact with Lady Tandia checking this runner. Following this incident Stooge then came out and contacted Reserve Decision which was racing on it's outside Reserve Decision was dragged down in this incident and fell Lady Tandia jumped the fallen Reserve Decision and made contact with Rhani Reason checking this runner. A post race vet examination of Reserve Decision found no abnormalities for this runner.
Race 5	MORE FM DASH - C1 - 318	Night Nugget was the slowest to begin. After the start Giggilo Gee Jay ran outwards and made contact with El Doo both of these runners were checked in this incident. As the field raced into the turn out of the back straight Trendy Jill and Santas Awesome who were racing at the rear of the field and very close together raced very wide around the home bend. A post race vet check on Catch A Virus revealed a painfull right Dew Claw requiring a 7 day stand down from racing. Trendy jill was post race Vet Checked and this examination showed a left fore stopper pad injury and a left hind main pad graze requiring a 7 day stand down from racing. Kapai Rua (K L Fairbrother) Dislocated Right Hock, Vet Certificate Supplied Rule 64 ,13. 90 days to and including 10 04 07. Catch A Virus ( G Calverley) Painful Right Fore Dew Claw Rule 82 1 7 days to and including 20 01 07. Trendy Jill ( K & C Munday) L Fore Stopper Pad Graze & L Back main Pad graze Rule 82 1 7 days to and including 20 01 07.
Race 6	SPRINGFRESH STAKES - C4/5 - 527	Entrepeneur and Cawbourne Patch were the slowest to begin. As the field raced into the first turn Bronx Appeal checked off the hindquaters of Augusta Allen. After this incident Bronx Appeal ran outwards and forced Cawbourne Patch , Cheeky Bonnie and Entrepreneur wider on the track with these three runners all suffering checks in this incident. A post race vet check of Cawbourne Patch revealed a right fore and left back main pad graze left back Digit 2 cut right hind cut between toes requiring a 14 day stand down from racing. Entrepeneur was post race vet checked and this revealed a left hind main pad graze requiring a 7 day stand down from racing. A post race Vet check on Thrilling Bonny revealed main pad grazed 14 day stand down from racing. Thrilling Bonny (N Udy) Main Pad Graze Rule 82 1 14 days to and including 27 01 07 Entrepreneur ( D D Schofield) L Hind Main Pad Graze Rule 82 1 7 days to and including 20 01 07. Cawbourne Patch ( D D Schofield) R Fore & L Back main pad graze L Back Digit 2 cut R Hind cut between toes Rule 82 1 14 days to and including 27 01 07..
Race 7	TRUSTS CHARITABLE DASH - C1 - 318	Certainly and Thrilling Finch were the slowest to begin. After the start Black Elly ran out checking itself and Certainly when these runners made contact. Selkcahs legend ran out after the start and Sprydon Louis ran inwards with both of these runners checking themselves and On Angels Wings this runners wasd denied cle4ar racing room due to this interferance. On Angels Wings was also checked by Spyridon Louis as the field raced into the first turn.
Race 8	SHARP STAKES - C2/3 - 527	Cockny Code was very slow to begin. Also slow to begin was Criteria. A post race Vet check was ordered by the Stewards on Cockny Code which showed a minor nail bed inflamation and a minor left hind main pad graze no stand down . Major Conquest ( S P Clark) Flexor Tendon Strain R Hind Dog Presented Vet Certificate supplied Rule 64 13 10 days to and including 23 01 07.
Race 9	CAROL'S TABS STAKES - C1 - 527	Sudoku Solver, Sweet Teddy, Romano Reason and Kaimai Belle were all slow to begin. After the start Oveload ran out checking itself, Romano Reason and Kaimai Belle. A post race vet check on Overload showed left fore stopper pad and left hiond main pad injury requiring a 7 day stand down from racing. Sudoku Solver was also Vety checked and this revealed a left hind main pad graze requiring a 7 day stand down from racing. Elite Paradise ( G R Farrell) Left Hip support Muscle Strain Dog Presented Vet Certificate Supplied. Rule 64 13 7 days to and including 20 01 07 Sudoku Solver( G Calverley) L Back Main Pad Graze Rule 82 1 7 days to and including 20 01 07. Overload ( M P Mann) L fore stopper pad graze & L hind main pad graze Rule 82 1 7 days to and including 20 01 07.
Race 10	PUTT AROUND THE ROCKS DASH - C2 - 318	Racing into the turn out of the back straight Spring Bundy ran outand contacted Jacki Flex , Jacki Flex dropped back and contacted Got Hope all of these runners were checked in this incident. There was no head on coverage of this race shown by the TAB. Ghost Nugget ( K Toomer) Ex Auckland 11 01 07.
