Judicial report: Weather: Fine / warm. Race 3. Handler, J.Udy was Officially Warned under Rule 71.2 for being 5 minutes late for pre- race preparation.

Race 6. Following discussion with K.Wilson the Authorized Handler for S.P.Clark (Reserve Decision) a Final Warning was issued under Rule 68.15 ( Removal of Strapping).

Race 1	LECTRO HAIR AND BEAUTY MAIDEN FEATURE - C0 - 318	Kapai Roco ran inwards at the start causing tightening and severe checks to itself, Thrilling Ace, Nochipin Me and Kapai Boof. Entering the first turn Nochipin Me changed ground outwards and severely checked itself and Kapai Roco. Thrilling Wanda, That Bloke and Kapai Boof came together on the first turn with all becoming unbalanced and being severely checked. A post race veterinary examination of Thrilling Wanda detected no injury. Nochipin Me ran into the hindquarters of That Bloke and fell after That Bloke had moved outwards slightly on the bend. A post race veterinary examination of Nochipin Me detected no injury. Nearing the home turn Thrilling Ace changed ground outwards and made brief contact with Kapai Boof.
Race 2	OXYSHOT NEW ZEALAND STAKES - C5 - 527	Cawbourne Patch, Thrilling Hugo and Miss Gray were the slowest to begin. Hello Awesome ran inwards at the start and inconvenienced Thrilling Hugo and Cawbourne Patch. Entering the first turn general tightening resulted in a severe check to Entrepreneur. On the first turn Cheeky Bonnie ran outwards and in doing so severely checked itself, Miss Gray and to a lesser extent Thrilling Hugo.
Race 3	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C4 - 318	Richfield Reason and Mr Miargi were the slowest to begin. Super Deal and Cheap jostled for several strides prior to the first turn. Entering the first turn Gunna Flex moved inwards to the rail, checked Super Deal which moved outwards and severely checked Cheap which also moved outwards carting Charlston Chill and Mr Miargi with it which were both severely checked.
Race 4	CAROL'S TABS' STAKES FEATURE - C4 - 527	Augusta Allen, Ash's Assassin and Willandra Bale were the slowest to begin. Stately Conquest ran outwards across the heels of Mo Mistress on the first turn. On the bend Coruba Rush moved outwards and severely checked Augusta Allen which was repeated entering the back straight. Hopplar (N.P.Green). Quadriceps muscle injury. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.13. 14 days to and including 22.01.07.
Race 5	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING LTD DISTANCE FEATURE - C0d - 603	This race was delayed 4 minutes at the request of TAB Trackside. Surf It Up, Fancy Trick, Sweet Teddy, Aria Allen and Criteria were all slow to begin. Fancy Trick endeavoured to move outwards on the first turn and severely checked Sweet Teddy in the process. Sweet Teddy and Criteria came together for several strides on the first bend with both being checked slightly.
Race 6	THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL DASH - C5 - 318	A pre race veterinary examination of Rock It Hound was conducted at the request of the Trainer and was subsequently given a clearance to start. Rhani Reason was the slowest to begin. Stooge ran inwards at the start and checked Lady Tandia and End Zone. Victory Chant moved outwards nearing the first turn and caused checks to Rock It Hound and Lady Tandia. Rock It Hound moved outwards on the home turn and inconvenienced Lady Tandia when at the rear.
Race 7	PUTT AROUND THE ROCKS STAKES - C2/3 - 527	Rowland Reason and Cockny Code were the slowest to begin. Cockny Code drifted to a clear last early and then made up ground well in the latter stages for 3rd. San Shin ran very wide on the first turn. A post race veterinary examination of this runner detected no injury.
Race 8	JACK'S WHOLESALE MEAT DASH - C1 - 318	Black Elly, Smooth Conquest and Bigtime Snowie were fractionally slow to begin. Approximately 25 mtrs after the start Selckahs Legend, Certainly and Bigtime Fox Trot were checked. Bigtime Fox Trot, Selckahs Legend and Certainly jostled for several strides prior to the first turn with all being checked. Entering the first turn Black Elly was severely tightened and twisted between On Angels Wings and Bigtime Snowie. A post race veterinary examination of Black Elly detected no injury. On the first turn Black Elly, Certainly, Bigtime Fox Trot and On Angels Wings came together with all being severely checked. On Angels Wings was tightened and checked nearing the home turn.
Race 9	PACIFIC SHEET & COIL (NZ) LTD STAKES - C1 - 527	A pre race veterinary examination of MissVeeEight was conducted at the request of the Trainer and was subsequently given a clearance to start. Kaimai Belle, Miss Vee Eight and Romano Reason were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Elite Paradise and Razzey jostled for several strides.
Race 10	WE RACE SUNDAY 14TH JANUARY DASH - C2 - 318	Mrs Goodley was the slowest to begin. Nearing the first turn Ray Reeb moved inwards and pushed Mrs Goodley inwards to the rail with both runners being severely checked. Ghost Nugget was handy early then appeared to falter and drift back to finish a distant last. A post race veterinary examination of this runner detected an injury requiring a 14 day stand down from racing. Leslies Pearl (D.M.Smith). Late scratching. Vomiting. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 5 days to and including 15.01.07. Ghost Nugget (K.Toomer). Right triceps longhead injury. Rule 82.1. 14 days to and including 24.01.07.
