MR CLONTARF was ordered to complete a satisfactory Trial under Rule 81.1 after turning in the boxes.

Race 1	HOAR & SONS - C0 - 290	MY SEAMUS was slow to begin and tailed the field throughout to finish in last place. MY SEAMUS was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a shoulder muscle injury. ANGELAS SONG was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 a i for marring FOOTESEA LASS and forcing it wide on the home turn. BUG CATCHER ran in on the home turn and checked LOTSA LOTTO who dropped back to finish in 2nd last place. APITI STORM L.Fornasiere Rule 68 A late scratching due to a toe injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 20.01.07 ANGELAS SONG L.Fornasiere Rule 80.1 a i Stood down for 28 days to and including 03.02.07. for marring another runner.Required to complete a Satisfactory Trial under Rule 81.1. MY SEAMUS L.Gill Rule 82 Suffered a shoulder muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 16.01.07.
Race 2	KEINZLEY AG VET - C0 - 290	ARANUI SPARK was checked on the bend, went back onto BIDNA MOHAN and they went back to the rear and this ruined their chance of a placing.
Race 3	THE SIGN FACTORY - C1/2 - 545	MR CLONTARF turned in the boxes and missed the start by several lengths but then made up some ground to finish 6th. MR CLONTARF is required to complete a satisfactory Trial under Rule 81.1 before its next start. ESPADRILLE, LITTLE PRESSY and FEVERISH were checked and lost ground on the first corner. MR CLONTARF A & J Hall Rule 81.1 Turned in the boxes and required to complete a satisfactory Trial before its next start.
Race 4	GLADSTONE KENNELS - C1 - 545	One of the favourites JEFFIES FELLA was checked on the first corner, went back to last and stayed well back.
Race 5	KURIPUNI SPORTSBAR - C1/2 - 290	EARTHWIND stood in the boxes and took no part in the race. EARTHWIND is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.l before its next start. ANGELICA J.Coffey Rule 64 Suffering from a tricep muscle injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 15.01.07 EARTHWIND G.Holswich Rule 81.1 Turned in the boxes and required to complete a satisfactory trial before its next start. DOUBLE HAPPY C.Morris Rule 82 Suffered a cut toe and stood down for 10 days to and including 16.01.07
Race 6	SOUTH WAIRARAPA VETS - C1 - 290	The favourite MINSTRAL LAD led early but faltered on the first corner and lost ground to eventually finish in 4th place. MINSTRAL LAD was examined by the Vet and found to have a fractured stopper bone and was stood down for 28 days. The Trainer advised that MINSTRAL LAD is now retired. PAPAKA was checked on the first corner and moved out forcing NOSE THE TUNE, ARANUI DIAMOND and EL GRINGO wide over extra ground and they filled the last four places at the finish. MINSTRAL LAD C.Morris Rule 82 Suffered a fractured stopper bone and was stood down for 28 days to and including 03.02.07 . Now retired
Race 7	BILL AND PENNY DENBEE SPRINT - C1 - 290	ROURKES DRIFT began very awkwardly, lost several lengths and tailed the field throughout the race to finish in last place. HOMEBUSH CHRIS J.Elers Rule 82 Suffered a cut toe and stood down for 14 days to and including 20.01.07.
Race 8	W.G.R.C. N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIP HURDLES - C1/2hf - 545	DANCING BANSHEE was in 2nd place and challenging the leader and eventual winner ARANUI MIST when he fell but was not injured.
Race 9	B & P ENGINEERING - C1 - 290	MISS ARISTOCRAT and INFECTIOUS AZZ both began awkwardly, settled at the rear and stayed there to the finish. MONTECITO was checked and fell on the first corner but was not injured.
Race 10	WAIRARAPA TIMES AGE MID WEEK - C1/2 - 290	All clear. MCTAGGART P.Raven Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 01.02.07.
Race 11	WAIRARAPA TIMES AGE - C3/4 - 545	ONLY ONE DADDY was in 4th place on the first corner but eased up and dropped out to last. ONLY ONE DADDY again eased on the home turn when a gap was available and finished in last place. He was examined by the Vet and found to have a shoulder injury which required a 21 day stand down. ONLY ONE DADDY D.Parata Rule 82 Suffered a shoulder injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 27.01.07
Race 12	COME AGAIN 21ST JANUARY - C3/4 - 290	FOUR SQUARE was checked and fell on the first corner but was not injured.
