Judicial report: Weather: Cloudy M.Gardner the Trainer of RALPH was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 89.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.3 kilograms overweight. ( 2nd offence within 3 months )
M.Boyd Trainer of ARANUI FLASH ( 1.4 kilograms underweight ) PITSTOCK JAZZ (1.8 kilograms underweight )and Caretaker Trainer of STRONG BAD ( 1.2 kilograms overweight )was fined a total of $ 150-00 under Rule 89.1 for breaches of Rule 69.11. First offences in last 3 months.

| Race 4 | KEINSLEY AGVET - C2/3 - 545 | COLOUR WASH began awkwardly, lost ground and was last into the first corner but made up ground for 4th placing. |
| Race 5 | W.G.R.C. NZ CHAMPIONSHIP HURDLE - HEAT 1 - C1/2hq - 545 Heat 1 | STRONG BAD hit the first hurdle hard and fell but was not injured. The hurdle was knocked down and as a result was removed before the field returned for the second time. DURAN DURAN fell at the first hurdle in the back straight but was uninjured. The winner ARANUI FLASH suffered a laceration injury to a foreleg at the lure and the initial request for a swab was cancelled as a result. ARANUI FLASH was stood down for 14 days. ARANUI FLASH M.Boyd Rule 82 Suffered from lacerations to a foreleg and stood down for 14 days to and including 16.01.07. |

GYPSYS MATE C.Clark Rule 82 Suffered a toe injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 16.01.07. |
| Race 8 | KURIPUNI SPORTS BAR - C2 - 545 | The box lids opened well before the arrival of the lure and the field ran the full distance of the race before being caught. The race was abandoned. The problem was with the catch on the front of the boxes and this was rectified prior to the next sprint race. |

| Race 10 | WAIRARAPA TIMES AGE MIDWEEK - C1 - 545 | MYSTIC DANCER, HOMEBUSH KIM and TUSSY were slow to begin, settled at the rear and stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 11 | GET WELL JOHN HILL - C1/2 - 290 | SEILATAN began very awkwardly and lost several lengths. SABLE RAEDER was also slow away and these two dogs then collided on the first corner losing further ground and any chance of a placing. |
| Race 12 | THE SIGH FACTORY - C4/5 - 545 | LEGAL EDITION began very awkwardly, lost several lengths and tailed the field throughout to finish in last place. |
| Race 13 | THE SIGH FACTORY - C4/5 - 545 | CANONGATE was checked and almost fell entering the back straight and he finished several lengths behind the other runners. |
| Race 14 | COME AGAIN 7TH JANUARY - C4/5 - 290 | The box lids again opened prior to the aarival of the lure and the field again ran the full distance and the race was abandoned. The problem was once again caused by the lids catch failing and the Club will have the catch overhauled and or replaced before the next meeting. |
