Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Trainer MJ Flipp was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when MYSTERY SOLVED weighed in 1.2kgs under his last race weight.

Race 1 SINGLETON SIGNS WELCOME - C0 - 390 CLASSICAL GAS was tightened soon after jumping settling last before improving along the rail around the bend to run on for third. GOLD QUIZ ran very wide around the bend losing all chance to finish at the rear. KAYJAY NIXS turned in the boxes, and after exiting from them jumped the rail before running around the inside of the track to finish at the lure. He was examined by the club veterinarian and found to be free of injury. He was stood down for a period of 28 days under Rule 81.1. KAYJAY NIXS (AL Hart) Rule 81.1. 28 days up to and including 24 January 2007.
Race 2 S & G STAMINA PLUS - C0 - 457 Into the bend MUPPET MAN and CLASSICAL MOVE were tightened by dogs on their outer both losing ground. Both finished well back. MUPPET MAN was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss. Soon after HEEZA FREE was tightened by an improving MERCEDES HOPE, losing all chance to finish last.
Race 3 ADDED ENERGY SPRINT - C1/2 - 390 IDOLISE ME was very slow to jump settling last. AWESOME TOY drifted after the jump before improving quickly around the field before being checked by AMAZING FANCY as she checked out off the back of SMART WAY. AWESOME TOY drifted out to finish near the rear with SMART WAY third.
Race 4 BOUNCE B TABS - C1/2 - 390 The favourite NGAWI BAY jumped to the lead to run away and win untested. Into the bend TRINITY STAR drifted out finishing a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed swelling to the right hind gracilus with a seven day stand down recommended. Around the bend DISCO FEVER struck MYSTERY SOLVED losing ground as a result finishing midfield. KIDICHIA'S DREAM (JM Jopson) left hock soreness. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 5 January 2007. TRINITY STAR (P&T Hammond) Rule 80.1. 7 days up to and including 3 January 2007.
Race 5 BEAUREPAIRS VICTORIA AVE - C1 - 457 This race was delayed one minute at the request of Raceday Control. OUTSIDE HOYTS stumbled on jumping from the boxes settling at the rear and never improving. Into the bend OZARK MOON was checked when tightened by ADMIRAL WOODS losing momentum finishing midfield.
Race 6 SGRC DOG KIBBLE - C1 - 390 HEAPS CLASSY, THRILLING FLAME and RICHTER were checked soon after the jump settling well back. HEAPS CLASSY ran on well for third. EL AQUILON ran wide when vying for the lead hitting the outside fence and losing all chance to finish last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 7 NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #10 FINAL - RESf - 457 WAXEYE slipped on jumping from the outside box and MCCRACKENS BOY and TRINITY THUNDA were both slow to jump. MCCRACKENS BOY and TRINITY THUNDA tangled around the bend when racing at the rear losing further ground and never improving. WAXEYE ran on late along the rail for a close up fourth.
Race 8 WWW.SOUTHLANDGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ - C3 - 390 HOMEBUSH CARLIN and NOT A WHATA came together after jumping both losing ground to settle at the rear. Into the bend an improving HOMEBUSH CARLIN collided with SMART WINK sustaining a check before finishing on for fourth. OCTOBER PLACARD and BONNIE BLINK ran wide around the bend losing ground to finish well back. PUSH PLAY (BA Eade) left gracilus tear. Rule 64.12. 28 days up to and including 19 January 2007.
Race 9 S & G SUPPLIES - C2/3 - 457 LA NOSEY was slow to jump settling at the rear finishing midfield. TIAWANA ran wide around the bend when leading losing ground to finish at the rear. A post race veterinary check revealed nothing amiss.
Race 10 ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C4/5 - 390 THRILLING TYKE and KIWI NIKO were tightened into the corner when vying for the lead, both losing ground to fill the last two placings. FOUR WAY DOLL was tightened soon after before recovering to finish well for third. ZEPHYR KEROMA (RM McKenzie) cut fore pads. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 18 days up to and including 12 January 2007.
