Judicial report: Weather: Cloudy Inquiries were made into the Ownership of FLAG THE BANK, an entrant in race 6 and also DRILLING DAM entered at the meeting to be held at Wanganui on 22.12.06. It was established that while the dogs were correctly recorded as being Trained by L.Ahern , due to an administrative error, the records showing that B.Cole shares in the ownership is incorrect and the error is being corrected immediately. As it was not established that any particular party was entirely at fault, no further action was considered necessary.

Race 1 WELLINGTON HOUNDS @ HATRICK - C1 - 305 One of the favourites JUDGEMENTAL was the slowest away and was still near the rear on the first corner but made ground well for 4th place. WOODSTOCK ROCKS checked over the heels of TUGS TIP on the home turn, ran wide and dropped back to finish in last place.
Race 2 SPICERS PAPER DASH - C0 - 305 KING CYRUS ran out from the start and checked RUN ROSIE RUN who settled well back. RUN ROSIE RUN was checked again on the bend when BUG CATCHER moved out and RUN ROSIE RUN finished at the rear. DREAMS OF VISION, BUG CATCHER and MY LADY INDIA bumped together for a few strides early in the race and lost some momentum. MY LADY INDIA D.Parata Rule 82 Suffered a slight wrist injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 24.12.06.
Race 3 PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1 - 305 MISS EBONY ROSE ran in from the start and checked ROCKET WOLF, TEENY WEENY and NOOKYS WINK who settled well back. ROCKET WOLF recovered to finish 4th while TEENY WEENY and NOOKYS WINK filled the last two places at the finish.
Race 4 TOTAL BODY SHOP - C1 - 520 This event was started 5 mins behind the advertised time at the request of the T.A.B. KIA KAHA was handy to the first corner but checked over the heels of LESHITA, moved out and checked BONIFIED who quickly recovered and ran on for 2nd place. KIA KAHA continued out and pushed BIGTIME FOXTROT and CENTRAL RAIDER wide over extra ground and they lost all chance. KIA KAHA was observed to falter in the back straight and dropped out to finish in last place and he was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 5 ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C0 - 305 NATURE RULES ran out from the start and collided with THUNDER BLUNDER. They collided again on the first corner, lost several lengths and tailed the field home from there.
Race 6 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C1 - 305 SPICE AGE was away well but was galloped on near the first corner, lost several lengths and finished in last place.
Race 7 CAMBRIDGE HOTEL WELLINGTON - C1/2 - 305 ASTRO JIMMY moved in on the first corner, collided with THRILLING MICKEY and fell suffering injuries requiring a 5 day stand down. DOUBLE HAPPY was severely checked and also fell, suffered from bruising and was also stood down for 5 days. THRILLING MICKEY lost ground in the incident and GRUNDY was also severely checked, lost several lengths and all chance. TARTARE SAUCE L.Fornasiere Rule 64 Suffering from a cut pad and stood down for 14 days to and including 01.01.07. DOUBLE HAPPY C.Morris Rule 82 Fell and suffered from bruising and stood down for 5 days to and including 24.12.06. ASTRO JIMMY S.Maher Rule 82 Fell and suffered bruising and spike wounds and stood down for 5 days to and including 24.12.06.
Race 8 UPPER VALLEY PANEL - C3 - 305 All clear.
Race 9 EXCHANGE HOTEL-LOWER HUTT - C4/5 - 520 AMANDA CHOICE was handy to the first corner but was checked and fell when THRILLING JEN moved in. ONLY ONE DADDY and THRILLING JEN both lost several lengths in the incident and all chance of a placing. AMANDA CHOICE suffered from bruising and was stood down for 5 days. BRITE OPAWA Ex Wanganui on 14.12.06 BIGTIME JENNY S.Drysdale Rule 64.10 In a seasonal condition and stood down for 28 days to and including 15.01.07. AMANDA CHOICE G & S Hayden Holmes Rule 82 Fell and suffered from bruising and stood down for 5 days to and including 24.12.06.
Race 10 EL CHEAPO CARS - C4 - 305 JESSTA LARRIKIN was away well but was bumped from both the inside and outside and dropped back through the field to finish in last place.
Race 11 ANGLO UPHOLSTERS - C2/3 - 520 SEXY BEAST was bumped by THRILLING CLASS on the first corner and pushed out onto FLAMING PRINCE who lost a little ground but recovered to finish in 3rd place. SEXY BEAST dropped out to finish in last place.
Race 12 SPIEGHTS ALE HOUSE - PETONE SIX PACK - C5 - 305 All clear.
