Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS SPRINT - C1/2 - 305	STRONG BAD ran out from the start and checked THRILLING DREAM and NIAGARA CRESENT. STRONG BAD then raced onto the heels of UNO EFFALL on the first turn and lost ground.
Race 2	DIMMOCKS RETRAVISION - C0 - 305	All clear.
Race 3	HEADS ROAD VET SIX PACK - C3 - 305	Tightening from the outside soon after the start resulted in checks to HILLYS TIP and BIGTIME LEE who both lost ground and settled well back.
Race 4	WANGANUI SECURITY - C2/3 - 520	THRILLING ROCCO ran in from the start and bumped HEATHERLEA ROSE who was forced onto THRILLING ALBERT and BENNY BAXTER who both lost a little ground. BENNY BAXTER was then checked again on the first corner and lost four lengths.
Race 5	GUTHRIE BOWRON - C1 - 305	HOLLABACK GURL and WOODSTOCK ROCKS collided soon after the start, dropped out to the rear and stayed there to the finish. KIA KAHA moved in on the first corner and crowded WINSOME GYPSY and TEENY WEENY who both lost ground and never recovered.
Race 6	WANGANUI STAYERS CUP - C2df - 755	COCKNY CODE was slow to begin losing 3 lengths but he made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. THRILLING MAC and THRILLING MATCH bumped on the first corner and THRILLING MATCH lost a little ground. THRILLING LAURA and FUNNY GIRL bumped entering the home straight the first time and lost momentum for a couple of strides.
Race 7	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C5 - 520	TEDDY HALL began awkwardly, lost ground and settled in last place and he tailed the field throughout and finished several lengths last.
Race 8	KEENAN CONCRETE SPION ROSE - HEAT 1 - C5q - 305 Heat 1	SHIFNAL CHIEF began awkwardly and lost 3 lengths. One of the favourites BLACK SAL was handy but wide on the bend but was checked, went back to last and stayed there to the finish. HOMEBUSH FITZY J.McInerney Rule 64 Suffering from a hind leg injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 23.12.06.
Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE - C4 - 520	The favourite WHISKY LODGE LAD was one of the last away and was tightly placed on the first corner and struck the rail and went back to a clear last. WHISKY LODGE LAD then made up ground very well to finish in 2nd place but suffered a hock injury and was stood down for 14 days. WHISKY LODGE LAD J.McInerney Rule 82 Suffered a hock injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 28.12.06.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE SPION ROSE - HEAT 2 - C5q - 305 Heat 1	VITA LASS stood in the boxes, lost several lengths and tailed the field throughout to finish last. MULISHA BALE ran onto the heels of SUNSET DOLL on the home turn and then SUNSET DOLL ran onto the heels of FRIDAY CULTURE and they all finished well back.
