Health and Safety comment:
Judicial report: Weather: Fine / warm Race 8. Stewards were advised by the Trainer's Authorized Person on track, J.McInerney Jnr, that the greyhound Homebush Bonnie had been very difficult to box at Dunedin on 05.12.06 and that he was seeking to box it first at todays meeting. Stewards advised that taking his comments into account, the request to 'box first' would be granted on an assessment basis only. Following the race the Starter advised Stewards that the greyhound was boxed without undue difficulty which confirmed the Stewards view on the matter.
One further assessment is required prior to a 'Hard to Box' categorization being approved.

Race 10. Trainer G.A.Cleeve (Crafty Carson) admitted a breach of Rule 69.11 in that he presented this greyhound 1.2 kg overweight (34.3kg) from it's last race start on 23.11.06 (33.1kg). A fine of $50.00 was imposed.

Sweet Teddy moved outwards off the rail on the home turn and checked Barramundi Flex which ran on strongly for 3rd . |
| Race 3 | TAUWHARE DASH - C0 - 375 | Creek Diamond was the slowest to begin. Tiodi ran outwards at the start and inconvenienced Stormy Knight. Stormy Knight clipped the heels of Zac Attack and then moved outwards on the first turn carting Creek Diamond very wide. Black Elly (winner) which fell after the finishing line underwent a veterinary examination with no injury detected. |
| Race 4 | MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 457 | Black Limousine and Deadly Prince were the slowest to begin. Awesome Foot ran inwards shortly after the start and checked Bigtime Snowie. Lady Dot and Black Limousine came together for several strides after 50 mtrs. Entering the first turn Our Hannah moved outwards and had it's heels clipped by Bigtime Snowie. Awesome Foot changed ground outwards on the first turn and severely checked Chile Maid. |
| Race 5 | GRAND VIEW SPORTS BAR SPRINT - C2 - 375 | Glenmire went down on it's nose as boxes opened and lost a length. Leslies Pearl dipped and lost a length on the first turn. A post race veterinary examination of Andwyn detected grazing between two lateral toes on the left fore foot not requiring a stand down from racing. Potential Rogue (J.M.Jopson). Muscle Soreness right shoulder. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days to and including 14.12.06. |
| Race 6 | TAMAHERE STAKES - C1 - 457 | Baxter's Boy and Sable Raeder were the slowest to begin. Peccari and Aria Allen jostled for several strides shortly after the start. Nearing the first turn Baxter's Boy moved outwards and checked Hoksilato then Peccari. Entering the first turn Romano Reason endeavoured to move outwards and severely checked itself and Peccari. Thrilling Jaguar (R.P.O'Regan). Sprained distal accessory metacarpal ligaments. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days to and including 15.12.06. |
| Race 7 | DECEMBER DASH - C1 - 375 | Call Me Loyal and Spyridon Louis were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Keroma Safari ran outwards checking Incidious and then collided with Selkcahs Legend. |
| Race 8 | WAIKATO RACE PIX STAKES - C4 - 457 | Homebush Bonnie was very slow to begin after jumping awkwardly. Thrilling Neo ran inwards at the start causing tightening and checks to Groovy Again and Ash's Assassin. Entering the first turn Ash's Assassin endeavoured to move outwards and forced Groovy Again and Rowland Reason wide on the track. Foul Play was caught up in traffic at the back of the field on the first turn and never improved thereafter finishing 7th. |
| Race 9 | RAGLAN SPRINT - C5 - 375 | Vulcan Earl and Entrepreneur were the slowest to begin. Nervous Wave and Thrilling Mike came together after 15 mtrs with both being checked slightly. Entering the first turn general tightening resulted in checks to Commands, Thrilling Mike, Nervous Wave, Ashbourne Boss and Victory Chant. |
| Race 10 | NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #9 FINAL - RESf - 457 | Thrilling Lucy, Hello Awesome, Thrilling Tiger and Charlston Ghost were the slowest to begin. Hello Awesome and Homebush Bradley came together at the start with both being checked slightly. Entering the first turn Hello Awesome changed ground outwards across the heels of Thrilling Tiger, checked itself in the process and lost 2 lengths. |
| Race 11 | RACEWAY SPRINT - C5 - 375 | Who Nose ran inwards at the start and checked itself and Lady Tandia. Hypoumunga ran inwards at the start and checked Nowhere To Run. End Zone moved outwards on the first turn and severely checked Ivan Evans. Homebush Phil was denied racing room on the first turn. |

Nearing the first turn Miss Tonsberg and Ralph came together with Ralph being checked slightly. At the same time Remo Blaster and Tent Top came together with Tent Top being checked. Entering the first turn Miss Tonsberg moved inwards to the rail and forced Ladylike Token to make contact with the running rail, be severely checked and was always at the rear thereafter. |
