G.Phillips the Trainer of GASMAN was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 88.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.1 kilograms overweight. ( 1st offence )

Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS - C0 - 305	KIA KAHA ran out from the start and checked UNO MORE who went back to last and stayed there to the finish. KIA KAHA and ICY BIGGLES collided soon after and both lost ground which they could not make up.
Race 2	DIMMOCKS RETRAVISION - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH EDWARD, THRILLING MICKEY and HAWERA STAR bumped together on the first turn and lost ground and STRATIFY who was following was pushed wide over extra ground.
Race 3	HEADS ROAD VET - C0 - 520	The favourite BIGTIME LISA was jostled several times in the race to the first turn and settled well back but made up some ground to finish in 5th place. JANG ran very wide on the first bend over extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 4	WANGANUI SECURITY - C1 - 305	MISS LIVEWIRE, CRYSTAL WENDY, THRILLING GYPSY and NOOKYS WINK were checked in the race to the first corner and they stayed back to fill the last four places at the finish.
Race 5	GUTHRIE BOWRON - C0 - 305	ICY MIDGET ran into and then onto the rail on the first corner and fell heavily suffering injuries which resulted in her death soon after. ICY MIDGET G.Frost Rule 82 Fell and suffered leg wounds and fractures to the front legs and possible chest injuries which resulted in ICY MIDGET'S death.
Race 6	VITA POWER - EXCEED - C1/2 - 305	All clear.
Race 7	KEENAN CONCRETE - C0 - 305	ICY DIGIT ran in on the first turn and checked MISS ARROGANCE and SKATEBOARD who lost several lengths and they finished in the last three places. .
Race 8	SOLID GOLD FM - C0 - 520	The favourite THRILLING BANJO was away well and handy until the back straight where he began to drift and after appearing to have every chance he finished in 4th place.
Race 9	THE RADIO WORKS - C1 - 305	THRILLING SNOOP moved in on the first turn and tightened ANGEL EYES who dropped back and finished in last place.
Race 10	SPICERS PAPER - C1 - 520	All clear. THRILLING TURBO A.Udy Rule 64 Has a pad injury and presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 20.11.06.
Race 11	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C1/2 - 305	HOMEBUSH KIM and JEN'S LASS were checked on the first corner and lost ground.
Race 12	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C3 - 305	LUKE SAMMY ZAK was handy to the first corner but was checked and fell heavily. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a leg injury. LUKE SAMMY ZAK W.G.Hodgson Rule 82 Fell and suffered suspected nerve damage and lameness to a foreleg and stood down for 10 days to and including 26.11.06.
Race 13	KEENAN CONCRETE SIX PACK - C1 - 520	Three of the favourites BOLD JENNI, BIGTIME FOX TROT and LESHITA bumped together entering the back straight and lost ground which possibly cost them the chance of a placing. THRILLING MAGIC A.Udy Rule 64 Suffering from muscle soreness in the elbow area, was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 20.11.06.
Race 14	RUSH HIRE, WANGANUI - C3/4 - 305	HOMEBUSH SNIPPET and KINAWHATA FLYER were tightened and checked on the first corner and lost several lengths. KINAWHATA FLYER finished several lengths behind the field and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days due to lameness. KINAWHATA FLYER A & S Frost Rule 82 Suffering from lameness in the left foreleg and stood down for 10 days to and including 26.11.06.
Race 15	H AND A PRINT - C2 - 520	ARANUI SPEEDY ran in from the start and crowded IRRITABILITY and HOMEBUSH ELVY for a few strides but they recovered to finish 1st and 2nd.
Race 16	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C3 - 520	JUST A DRIP and THRILLING DREAM came together and bumped on the first turn, dropped back to the rear and finished in the last two places. FANTASY SHIFTER Ex Manawatu on 15.11.06
Race 17	VITA POWER - EXCEED - C3/4 - 305	BIG NATE BANNER was last to the first turn after being checked at the start but then received a clear run on the rail and won with ease.
Race 18	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C4/5 - 520	One of the favourites OPAWA STATE began awkwardly and was last to the first corner where she checked off the heels of KIWI ASSASSIN and tailed the field from there to the finish. AULD SON P.Freeman Rule 64 Suffering from a kidney infection and stood down for 28 days to and including 13.12.06 TOKEN DIAMOND P.Freeman Rule 64 Suffering from water diabetes and stood down for 28 days to and including 13.12.06.
Race 19	DOUBLE 'S' MOTORDROME - C5 - 305	One of the favourites THRILLING DELTA was in the leading group at the first corner but was checked, went back quickly to last and finished near the rear.
Race 20	DIMOCKS FURNITURE COURT - C4/5 - 305	NOWHERE TO RUN ran out from the start and pushed THRILLING FLYNN and MISS WOOFY COOKA wide on the track and over extra ground in the run to the first corner.
