Judicial report: Weather: fine Mr H R Bond was issued a warning with regard to Hot Doc slipping it's collar and getting loose on parading to the start. The Stewards ordered a veterinary examination of this runner prior to allowing Hot Doc to take his place in the field. This runner was passed fit to run by the officiating veterinarian.
Mr.P Chouinard the trainer of Riddle Inn was charged under the provisions of Rule 69 11 with a breach of this rule.
It was alleged that Mr. P Chouinard produced the greyhound Riddle Inn to race at the Auckland Greyhound Racing Club's meeting of the 16 11 06 at 27 .8 KG's 1.5.KG's down from it's previous start on 22 11 06 when this runner weighed in at 29.3 KG's.
Mr. Chouinard admitted the breach of this rule and indicated on the charge sheet he did not wish to be present at the hearing of this charge.
As this was Mr. Chouinard's first offence under this rule a fine of $50.00 was imposed in this instance.

Race 1 STREETS ICE CREAM DASH - C0 - 318 That Bloke , New Clear Power, Stormy Knight, and Surf It Up were the slowest to begin After the start On Angels Wing ran inwards and contacted Surf It Up forcing Surf It Up to be pushed onto Stormy Knight with all three of these runners receiving checks in this incident.As the field raced around the first turnout of the back straight New Clear Power had to check off thew heels of Stormy Knight. A Post race veterinary Examination of Stormy Knight revealed an injury to this runners left hind foot requiring Sutures to Split webbing requiring a 10 day stand down from racing. A post race Veterinary Examination of On Angels Wings detected a left hind tiny cut Dorsal to Toe Nail Digit 4 No Stand Down from racing required. Stormy Knight ( C. J. Derecourt) Suture , Split Webbing. Rule 82 1 10 days stand down to and including 25 11 06.
Race 2 SWISS DELI STAKES - C3/4 - 527 Heza Penske, Hot Dicladee and Killer touch were the slowest to begin. Massachusetts jumped awkwardly at the start. No further incidents in the race.
Race 3 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT FINAL - C1f - 318 This Race started 1 minute late at the request of the TAB due to a false start at the Ashburton Trotting Clubs Meeting. Got Hope and Call Me Loyal were the slowest to begin. As the field raced into the first turn Nutty Squirrel ran in and checked itself and Thrilling Bird. Thrilling Bird second favourite was nearly bought down in this incident and dropped to the rear of the field finishing in last place Got hope and Nutty Squirrel came together for a stride as the field raced around the first turn with both of these runners receiving slight checks.
Race 4 CAROL'S TABS DASH - C4/5 - 318 Mr. Miargi was very slow to begin. As the field raced around the turn out of the back straight Noble Osti appeared to falter and a post race Veterinary Examination revealed a Fractured Left Hind Hock this runner being Euthenased at the trainers request There was no head on video coverage of this race.. Noble Osti ( G Calverley) Fractured Hock Euthenased.
Race 5 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING LTD STAKES - C4/5 - 527 Ash's Assassin was the slowest to begin As the field raced around the first turn Thrilling Buzz and Secret Teddy came together for a stride with both of these runners suffering minor interferance. As the field continued around this turn Ash's Assassin had to check off the hindquaters of Thrilling Buzz. A post race veterinary examination of Ash's Assassin revealed two spike wounds 1 right hind and 1 left hind toes requiring a 5 day stand down from racing. Race 6 'EXCITE ABILITY' DASH - C5 - 318 Who Nose ( Fav) dwelt at the start. Charlston Kid was very slow to begin settling 3 lenghts last and made up good ground to win this race. No further incidents in this race.
Race 7 LECTRO HAIR & BEAUTY DASH - C2/3 - 318 Plenty Of Dash and Jacki Flex were the slowest to begin. After the field jumped Hot Doc ran inwards checking itself Suiability, Mallee Jack and Jacki Flex. Suitability continued its inwards movement and checked both Mallee Jack and Jacki Flex ance more to a minor degree.
Race 8 PUTT AROUND THE ROCKS STAKES - C1/2 - 527 Maximum was the slowest to begin. As the field raced into the first turn Homebush Lee and This Time Boots came together for a stride both of these runners being checked for a stride in this incident
Race 9 ROBERTS CATERING STAKES - C1 - 527 Aria Allen, Hoksilato and Romano Reason were the slowest to begin. After the start Hoksilato ran in with Aria Allen running out both these runners making contact with each other for a stride. Racing into the first turn Mosaic (leader) and Trendy Time came together for a stride. As the field raced around the bend into the back straight Romano Reason cut across Aria Allen causing a severe check to Aria Allen this runner dropped out finishing in last place.
Race 10 WWW.ARGC.CO.NZ DASH - C1 - 318 Winsome Gypsy and Kapai Rua were the slowest to begin. Winsome Gypsy came out of the boxes and was observed to stumble on it's nose. After the start Hosannas Return and Spyridon Louis came together for a stride with both of these runners receiving checks. Racing into the first turn Incidious and Ray Reb came together for a stride. Around the home bend Catch A Virus (leader) and Kapai Rua on the outer of this runner were racing head to head, Catch A Virus ran out when the field swung for home forcing Kapai Rua wider on this track..
