Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer LJ Waretini was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when YENDY'S TITLE weighed in 1.3 kgs under her previous race weight.

| Race 1 | ADVANCE PERFORMANCE STAKES - C1 - 520 | BAXTER'S BOY was checked when the eventual winner ANOTHER LLOYD crossed quickly into the first bend. He recovered well and finished third. LADY MAUREEN attempted to run outwards over the early stages of the race and eventually succeeded taking HIDDEN SECRETS, JACKPOT JACK and CLAN BAILEY with it. All dogs lost their chances as a result of this incident. |
| Race 2 | SUPER PETS DASH - C1 - 295 | TO CASUAL tangled with NGAWI BAY when looking for racing room on the home turn. He lost ground in this incident but ran on again for fourth. |
| Race 3 | C.T.V SPRINT - C0 - 295 | WHIPWHOP MISS was squeezed soon after the jump dropping to the rear and remaining there. On the first turn CRACKER HAND and STARDOE tangled. CRACKER HAND recovered well to win the race while STARDOE remained in midfield. |
| Race 4 | DAVE EMERSON CONSULTANCY STAKES - C1 - 520 | SHADY'S MATE and ELLE VIRUS tangled into the first bend and lost ground with these dogs filling the last two placings. M Robinson, trainer of PALONE, made application to the steward on 9 November 2006 under Rule 82.5 having been stood down at the Christchurch GRC meeting on 8 November 2006. PALONE was examined by the officiating veterinary surgeon and declared fit to race. CLAN BLUE (HG Cairns) scratched at Christchurch GRC on 8 November 2006. Rule 68.26. 5 days up to and including 12 November 2006. TAMBOOLI (MP Stewart) scratched under Rule 64.10. No penalty. |
| Race 5 | INDEPENDENT CARPETS CRANFORD - C0 - 295 | BALLINA BLADE was slow to jump from the inside box and remained last throughout. PORCHIA BALE ran wide into the first bend and lost ground but made up a lot of ground in the run home to finish an improver's sixth. HEAPS CLASSY received a check at the end of the back straight when BELLY GIRL crossed it quickly. He lost momentum but ran on strongly when balanced to finish third. |
| Race 6 | CAROLS TAB SPRINT - C1 - 295 | BOMBER BELLE faltered shortly after the winning post. A post race veterinary check revealed a fractured right hock and the dog was euthanased on humane grounds. BOMBER BELLE (M & J Hill) fractured right hock. Euthanased. |
| Race 7 | CONTAINERMAN DASH - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH DUNCAN was slow to jump but recovered well to finish second. JESSIE BLUE was very slow to leave the boxes and remained last throughout. Into the first bend FLAT WHITE and WHATA ASSASSIN came together and lost ground with HOMEBUSH JOCK receiving some backwash in this incident. These dogs all finished midfield. Favourite TIAWANA and NO VICES both ran wide around the home bend and lost ground. TIAWANA finished third with NO VICES in seventh place. |
| Race 8 | NUTRI-ZING MAIDEN FINAL - C0f - 520 | BOATSWAIN WALLY and SMOOTH GIRL were both slow to jump. BOATSWAIN WALLY made up a heap of ground to finish second but SMOOTH GIRL remained at the rear. Favourite FIERY FALCON was badly tightened into the first bend when ULTIMATE BURST ran very wide losing ground but ran on nicely for fourth. BIG TEASE was also forced wide at this stage. |
| Race 9 | TRACKSIDE DINING PH 338-6145 SPRINT - C1 - 295 | The start of this race was delayed one minute by raceday control. AWESOME BROWNIE was slow out and remained in midfield. ANOTHER BEAUTY was slightly checked by the pacemaking HOMEBUSH JADE at the end of the back straight and never recovered finishing sixth. Shortly after this RICHTER ran outwards on to BEKA'S ROSE with MISTRESS BELLA also losing ground at this point. RICHTER battled well for third with the other two dogs dropping to the rear and staying there. OUT COLD (LJ Waretini) Stood down Christchurch GRC on 8 November 2006. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 21 November 2006. |
| Race 10 | DUAL HERE IN 2 HOURS DASH - C2 - 295 | At the end of the back straight WHISKY LEE GIRL ran out colliding with LIPSLIDE SKINNY and fell. JUST AWESOME was also severely checked in this incident all but falling and losing all chance. Post race veterinary checks on WHISKY LEE GIRL and JUST AWESOME revealed no injury. POTENTIAL ROGUE (JM Jopson) left triceps shoulder injury. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 22 November 2006. |
| Race 11 | GEORGE CALVERT CLEANING GALAXY - HEAT 1 - C5q - 295 Heat 1 | JUST AS SHIFTY faltered on the home turn when racing at the rear. A post race veterinary check revealed a fractured right hock and the dog was euthanased on humane grounds. HOMEBUSH PHIL and ROYAL FERN were tightened into the bend and lost ground finishing at the rear. AZTEC KEROMA (N Udy) sore right triceps. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 18 November 2006. JUST AS SHIFTY (R Adcock) fractured right hock. Euthanased. |
| Race 12 | GEORGE CALVERT CLEANING GALAXY - HEAT 2 - C5q - 295 Heat 1 | TARRAH drifted to the rear after the jump. Into the bend BIGTIME EXPLORER moved outwards checking KIM'S WHISKY, HOMEBUSH BEE, FOUR WAY DOLL, ROYAL REPRIEVE and an improving TARRAH. This allowed the favourite ZIGGY WAR CRY to improvealong the rail finishing third. BLACK SAL led into the bend and was unaffected to win well with BIGTIME EXPLORER running on late for second . |
| Race 13 | CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C2 - 520 | COOL PILGRIM ran outwards into the first bend checking GOOD GRACIOUS ME, INCOGNITO and WHATA PLAN. COOL PILGRIM fell as result, but regained her feet to finish a distant last. A post race veterinary check on both her and GOOD GRACIOUS ME revealed no injury. |

| Race 15 | SOUTHERN TRUST NEW ZEALAND CUP - HEAT 1 - C5q - 520 Heat 1 | GELIGNITE ran inwards after jumping tightening CAWBOURNE BARON and the short priced favourite WINSOME SECRET. They settled at the rear with CAWBOURNE BARON finishing strongly for a close up fifth. WINSOME SECRET never improved finishing last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. |

He switched outside dogs improving down the back before storming home for second. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. |

Turning for home MILANION ran outwards colliding with WIZELEE. Both finished midfield. GARLAND GREEN finished last and was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed no injury. |

Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 22 November 2006. TOMMY LEE WHISKY was a late scratching at kennelling with a right hind groin muscle injury. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 10 days up to and including 19 November 2006. |
| Race 19 | SOUTHERN TRUST NEW ZEALAND CUP - HEAT 4 - C5q - 520 Heat 1 | HIGH ACE was struck by DANCING HARRY into the first bend before being struck by an improving WINSOME DAISY into to the back losing ground as a result. Soon after he was struck for a third time by DANCING HARRY, losing ground quickly to finish a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed HIGH ACE to have cramped up with no stand down recommended. Into the back straight EMULATE tightened THRILLINS ASSY both losing ground. EMULATE ran on for fourth with THRILLING SASSY and DANCING HARRY finishing well back. |
