HEART OF PROMISE was observed to faulter over the concluding stages dropping out to finish fifth. A post race veterinary check revealed the dog to have cramped up with no stand down recommended. | Race 13 | ON-COURSE $8 ROAST & REFRESHMENT DASH - C1 - 295 | KIWI YOUNG was squeezed when DASH DOT DASH improved around it into the first bend and lost ground. She never recovered finishing seventh. TAMBOOLI and HOMEBUSH LARKIN were tightened and lost ground soon after with both dogs drifting to the rear and staying there. A charge under Rule 80.1 was preferred against the winner ZAMWHEN for an incident in the home straight and the dog was stood down for a period of twenty-eight days. WHERE'S ANOTHER was observed to run very wide taking BAXTER SUE off the track with it. These dogs lost all chance in this incident. Trainer was advised to improve the dog's racing manners. |
| Race 19 | SUPER PETS DASH - C3 - 295 | Hot favourite SLAVE DRIVER was very slow from the outside and ROCHDALE LAD was also tardy from the boxes. CLAN ORA ran out sharply on the home turn checking THAT VIRUS, SLAVE DRIVER and ROCHDALE LAD. Of these dogs SLAVE DRIVER stormed down the outside to run third. |
