Judicial report: Weather: Fine J.Elers the Trainer of DUSTYS REWARD was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 88.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.1 kilograms overweight. ( 2nd offence in 3 months
L.McCook was fined $ 20-00 under Rule 88.1 for failing to catch a dog as arranged.

Race 1 WWW.NZRACINGDOGS.CO.NZ HURDLES - C1/2h - 545 One of the better supported runners RUNNING TIGER tailed the field throughout and finished several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days. RUNNING TIGER L.Bell Rule 82 Suffered a pencil muscle injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 12.11.06.
Race 2 TED TAYLOR SPRINT - C0 - 290 SIXTEEN GAUGE was away well enough but was tightened twice on the bend, dropped out to last and stayed there to the finish.
Race 3 ROGER HOAR - C0 - 545 WOODVILLE FLYER dropped out to finish several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury but will probably not be persevered with as a racing proposition.
Race 4 OLGA WIMUTU - C2 - 290 DOUBLE HAPPY was checked on the bend when on the heels of CATCH CADDY and he went back to last and stayed there. LEGAL EDITION L.Fornasiere Rule 68 A late scratching due to an infected foot and stood down for 10 days to and including 08.10.06.
Race 5 OWEN MARRON SPRINT - C0 - 290 CAYOTE BOY was checked soon after the start, went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 6 EWEN GLASS STAKES - C1 - 545 SEILATAN ran in from the start and crowded SUPREME TEDDY, SABLE GOLD and SWEET TEDDY for a few strides.
Race 7 HAZEL CROMBIE - C1 - 290 This race was started 3.minutes late due to the fact that dogs were being kennelled for latter races while the field for this race were being taken from the kennels. FOG PATCHES was stood down for 28 days after marring DILANA on the home turn. FOG PATCHES E.Norris Rule 80.1 a ii Stood down for 28 days to and including 26.11.06 for marring another runner. Required to trial under Rule 81.1.
Race 8 SEEDS & CEREALS MAIDEN DISTANCE - C0d - 763 The favourite PATRICIA SHERRY was checked and fell on the first corner, was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. JEWEL and TENT TOP collided entering the home straight with over a circuit to run and they lost momentum for a few strides.
Race 9 RANCHMAN'S STAKES - C2 - 545 All clear.
Race 10 LIFE MEMBERS WAIRARAPA CUP - C5 - 545 SHIFNAL CHIEF and TEDDY HALL collided on the home turn, ran wide and dropped back to finish near the rear.
Race 11 HORSE & HOUND SPRINT - C1 - 290 All clear.
Race 12 PARKVIEW MOTORS - C4 - 290 JOEBEES JET, who was well supported, was checked twice on the bend and dropped back to last and finished in that position.
Race 13 GLADSTONE KENNELS - C2/3 - 545 ARANUI GOLD was checked soon after the start and was last to the first corner but recovered well to win the race.
Race 14 CLIFTON DECORATORS - C4/5 - 545 EARL MCROBERTS was tightened between runners on the first corner, went back to last and finished towards the rear. DINAH WASHINGTON A club scratching
Race 15 HOAR & SONS SPRINT - C2/3 - 290 The winner GUNGULLIN moved across to lead from box 8 and RALPH on the inside received a slight check on the first corner but recovered to finish in 3rd place.
