Race 1 METEOR PRINTERS - C1 - 305 STRONG BAD and NANCY'S WISH collided in the race to the first turn and lost ground which they never recovered and they finished well back.
Race 2 DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C1 - 520 One of the favourites MISS EBONY ROSE was handy in the early and middle stages but faded out to finish 2nd last when appearing to have had every chance. SEILATAN was slow away and tailed the field throughout to finish in 2nd last place. It was observed that SEILATAN had eased on the final bend and he was examined by the Vet and while not requiring a stand down, SEILATAN had been galloped on and had an excessive amount of sand in his eyes which in the opinion of the Vet, could have affected his performance.
Race 3 HEADS ROAD VET - C2/3 - 305 SEXY DELIGHT and ASTRO JIMMY bumped together in the back straight and ASTRO JIMMY ran very wide around the bend over extra ground. CATCH CADDY, LISSADELL PRINCE and HOMEBUSH MAX collided on the first turn and all lost ground. CATCH CADDY recovered to finish in 3rd place while the other two finished well back.
Race 4 KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1/2 - 520 The favourite ROYAL TAP was checked on the first corner when outside runners moved across. ROYAL TAP then made ground until the final bend where he collided with GYPSYS MATE., lost a little ground but recovered to run 3RD. GYPSYS MATE lost several lengths in the incident and then fell in the home straight and failed to finish. GYPSYS MATE was examined by the Vet and found to have suffered from severe cramp but did not require a stand down.
Race 5 GUTHRIE BOWRON - C2/3 - 305 TEDDY TYLER ran in from the start and crowded HILLYS TIP and TAHUNA TEASER for a few strides. TAHUNA TEASER and HOMEBUSH TERRA were checked and lost ground on the first turn and finished well back.
Race 6 VITA POWER - EXCEED - C4 - 520 All clear.
Race 7 WANGANUI SECURITY - C4 - 305 CRYSTAL HISTORY and TIME TO REMEMBER were both checked in the race to the first corner, went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. TIMTAGEL STAR T.McCracken Rule 64 Has a webbing injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 14.11.06.
Race 8 DOUBLE 'S' MOTORDROME - C4/5 - 305 SEXY ASSASSIN ran in from the start and crowded BIGBAD EDNA, SEXY DREAM and SUNSET DOLL with SEXY DREAM being most affected and she went back to the rear and stayed well back. SUNSET DOLL was on heels and moved out on the first turn and SEXY ASSASSIN and NOWHERE TO RUN were forced wide over extra ground on the bend and finished at the rear.
Race 9 MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C4/5 - 520 The favourite CAWBOURNE BARON drew box 1 and was tightened in the race to the first corner, went back to last but then made ground well to finish in 4th place.
Race 10 THE RADIO WORKS - C4/5 - 305 The favourite DELTA BELLE was away well and handy to the first corner but was tightened between runners, severely checked and went back to last and stayed there to the finish. VITA LASS was forced wide over extra ground in the incident.
