Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer RP Breen was fined $50.00 when he admitted a breach of Rule 111.1 in respect of HOMEBUSH CARLIN having recently taken over this dog from previous trainer JT McInerney.
HG Cairns was fined $150.00 (third offence) for a breach of Rule 69.11 when CLAN MISTY weighed in 1.4 kgs below its last race weight.
Trainer BC Dann was fined $25.00 for a breach of Rule 111.6 when WHATA TOWN escaped from him prior to the start of Race 10.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE STAKES - C1 - 520 ANOTHER LLOYD was slow to jump but recovered quickly and made up ground for third. MCCRACKENS BOY and JACKPOT JACK were checked into the first bend losing all chance and finishing well back. COOL PILGRIM checked off heels into the final bend when looking for racing room and lost ground to finish sixth.
Race 2 CONTAINERMAN SPRINT - C1 - 295 Favourite and eventual winner BAXTER SUE ran off the rails on the first turn taking BEKA'S ROSE wider and causing her to lose all chance.
Race 3 DAVE EMERSON CONSULTANCY DASH - C1 - 295 NOT A WHATA was galloped on by JESSIE BLUE at the end of the back straight with SOMERSET BLUE being checked out of the race. A post race veterinary check on NOT A WHATA revealed no injury. HAVE MY SAY (GA Cleeve) left gracilus insertion tear. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 7 November 2006.
Race 4 SHIRLEY T.A.B SPRINT - C2 - 295 RAILS BOOKMAKER was slowest to jump and remained in midfield. Into the first bend TAIM BIHAIN and CLAN MISTY were tightened by EL ASSASSIN as he crossed sharply from the outside draw losing their chances and finishing at the rear.
Race 5 INDEPENDENT CARPETS CRANFORD STAKES - C3 - 520 The favourite ARROGANT SHIRAZ was tightened into the first bend but railed well into the back straight and continued to make ground to finish second.
Race 6 ALPHA PROCESSING SPRINT - C2 - 295 A combination of POWERFAST PATCH running outwards and HOMEBUSH RYAN and ROSIE RETURN running inwards meant that JAZZ MAN, HEEZ BACK IN and THRILLING SPICE were all tightened and lost their chances in the race.
Race 7 KOLORFUL KANVAS DASH - C3/4 - 295 All clear. THRILLING PIRATE (N Udy) sprained left tensor fascia lata muscle. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 3 November 2006.
Race 8 CHCH ANNUAL AWARDS SPRINT - C3/4 - 295 BLICKLING HALL, ROBERTALAN and BONNIE BLINK were all tightened into the first bend losing ground and their chances. LOCHINVAR RHETT (MM Grant) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 30 October 2006.
Race 9 HAMPDEN TAVERN STAKES - C4 - 520 TE PIRITA TIGER and LIMITED IMPACT came together into the first bend with resultant checks to SMART THOMAS and HOMEBUSH BUBBLES. These all dogs all finished midfield or worse.
Race 10 GARDEN CITY CHEM DRY SPRINT - C3 - 295 HOMEBUSH BELLA and AWESOME TOY tangled on the first bend dropping out to fill the last two placings. BURSTING OUT (RD Blackburn) was a late scratching at kennelling with a sore right wrist. Rule 68.26. 14 days up to and including 8 November 2006.
Race 11 CANTERBURY DRAUGHT STAKES FINAL - C1f - 520 THRILLING ROCCO was the slowest to jump and settled well back. JOHNNY BAXTER and SHADY'S MATE tangled into the first bend losing ground. JOHNNY BAXTER made up ground to finish fifth but SHADY'S MATE remained in last place.
Race 12 CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP SPRINT - C3 - 295 AFTERNOON DELITE and COCONUT ICE were both checked into the first bend when NERVOUS WAVE crossed from the outside and gave them the go bye. Both dogs finished midfield.
Race 13 TRACKSIDE DINING PH 3386145 - C5 - 520 THRILLING SASSY and THRILLING SAM were tightened into the first bend and lost ground. Off the back straight for the last time THRILLING SAM checked off the heels of OPAWA ROSE with WHISKY LODGE LAD being forced wide on the track. These dogs all finished midfield.
Race 14 NUTRI-ZING STAKES FINAL - C2f - 520 Favourite BILLY BAXTER was slow to jump and improved to fifth on the turn before unleashing a paralysing burst to win going away. THRILLING ALBERT was very slow away and lost all chance.
Race 15 BACK HERE TUESDAY DASH - C5 - 295 WHATA BUY and favourite CRAFTY CARSON came together at the first bend and soon after CRAFTY CARSON hit the rail when looking for a run. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
