Storm Safari raced very wide throughout covering a lot of extra ground then finished on in the home straight for 5th. Fun And Profit (B.Duganzich). Left front digit 4 joint sprain. | Race 2 | STREETS ICE CREAM DASH - C1 - 375 | Distinctly Roys stumbled at the start, lost 3 lengths and made up ground along the rail for 5th. Hosannas Return endeavoured to move outwards at the start and checked itself, I've Got Mail and Hypo Lomu. Distinctly Roys and Hosannas Return came together on the bend with the latter being checked. | Race 4 | WWW.AGRC.CO.NZ DASH - C5 - 375 | Mr Miargi and End Zone were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn general tightening resulted in checks to Flash Shooter and Lady Tandia. Ivan Evans bored outwards onto End Zone for several strides around the bend with both being checked slightly as a consequence. Ivan Evans moved outwards again in the home straight and checked itself and End Zone which also dipped badly. A post race veterinary examination of End Zone detected an injury requiring a 14 day stand down from racing. End Zone (A.P.& D.D.Schofield). Suture wound dew claw left fore and right hind digit 3 interdigital joint sprain. Rule 82.1. 14 days to and including 04.11.06. |
| Race 5 | CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY DASH - C2 - 375 | Gentle Lee and Just The Don came together for stride at the start. Roulette Reason was inconvenienced slightly at the start. Lord Maximus was tightened and checked between runners on the first turn. |
| Race 6 | WWW.EXPOSURE.CO.NZ - C1 - 457 | Blue Watch and Gatlin Breeze were the slowest to begin. Gatlin Breeze clipped the heels of Trendy Time entering the first turn with both being severely checked. Blue Watch moved outwards on the bend and carted Gatlin Breeze with it. Maxine's Beauty ran outwards at the start and checked itself and Origin Teddy to a lesser extent. Shortly after Origin Teddy reversed the interference by moving inwards and checking itself and Maxine's Beauty. A post race veterinary examination of Media Frenzy detected an injury requiring a 10 day stand down from racing. Media Frenzy (P.Chouinard). Left hind toe nail pulled. Victory Chant raced very wide around the bend and home turn. Loaded Gun moved outwards on the home turn and checked Velvot Revolver. |
