Race 1 | S & G STAMINA PLUS - C0 - 390 | ANOTHER PRIDE and WHERE'S ANOTHER were slow to jump. They came together soon after losing ground with WHERE'S ANOTHER running wide around the bend. She finished last with ANOTHER PRIDE running on late along the rail for fifth. |
Race 2 | COLORMARK LTD - C0 - 457 | BAXTER SUE pushed her muzzle through the front of the box 1 prior to the arrival of the lure. Temporary remedial work was undertaken for the remainder of the program with substantial repairs to the grills of the lids needed prior to the next meeting. OUT OF REACH and BACARDI CUP were slow to jump. BACARDI CUP improved along the rail into the bend tightening THRILLING FLAME, MERCEDES HOPE and TRINITY MAGIC who fell heavily, taking no further part in the race. A post race veterinary check revealed a fractured left humerus resulting in his euthanasia on humane grounds. CYBER QUEEN (J&D Fahey) pain to left fore metacarpals. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 9 October 2006. TRINITY MAGIC (Freeman/Hammond) euthanased on humane grounds. |
Race 3 | SINGLETON SIGNS - C1 - 390 | Into the corner TWISTER SISTER fell as a result of coming in contact with TRINITY STORM on her inner. She regained her feet and finished the event. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. IN YOUR FACE (KJ Cassidy) left groin pain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 13 June 2006. WHATA OUTLOOK (MJ Flipp) deceased. |
Race 4 | S & G SUPPLIES MAIDEN FINAL - C0f - 390 | WHATA ASSASSIN was slow from the boxes before running on for third. Into the corner WHERES YABREEKS was tightened by SMART WAY before checking out onto the hindquarters of the favourite BAXTER'S GENERAL who fell. He regained his feet and finished the event as did WHERES YABREEKS. Both were subject to post race veterinary checks which revealed no injuries. HOMEBUSH SQUIRT (JT McInerney) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 4 days up to and including 8 October 2006. |
Race 5 | ADDED ENERGY - C1 - 390 | INFECTIOUS AZZ was checked into the corner settling last and never improving. |
Race 6 | ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C1 - 457 | On the turn SHADY'S MATE drifted out wide forcing CLAN PHOENIX and MCCRACKENS BOY out wider, with all three dogs finishing towards the rear. BAXTER'S GENERAL (JT McInerney) starter in Race 4. LOUD AND PROUD (J&D Fahey) spike wound left hind. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 13 October 2006. CLAN MCINERNEY (HG Cairns) starter in Race 8. |
Race 7 | BOUNCE B TABS - C2/3 - 390 | PUSH PLAY struck HALCYON HILL into the corner, both losing ground to finish at the rear. |
Race 8 | SGRC BETTING COMP FINAL - C1f - 457 | CLAN BLUE was a late scratching when found to have diarrhoea when taken from the kennels in preparation for this race. CLAN MCINERNEY was checked soon after the jump settling last. The favourite FANTA CLAWS settled well back and when improving into the home straight collided with SLAVE DRIVER on his outer. Both finished midfield. FEVERISH (J&DFahey) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 3 October 2006. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 9 October 2006. CLAN BLUE was a late scratching when found with diarrhoea. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 7 days up to and including 12 October 2006. |
Race 9 | SCRC DOG KIBBLE - C2/3 - 457 | HOMEBUSH DAN was tightened soon after the jump settling well back. Into the corner USER FRIENDLY was checked by an improving THRILLING TYKE, losing ground to fill the last two placings. |
Race 10 | WWW.SOUTHLANDGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ - C4/5 - 390 | Into the corner TRINITY TRANCE was tightened checking out off ZEPHYR KEROMA before coming in contact with PAREORA JACK. TRINITY TRANCE lost ground before being hit by HYPO ROKOCOKO and BURSTING OUT who both fell. They regained their feet and finished the race. A post race veterinary check on both dogs revealed both dogs to have no injury. |
