Judicial report: Weather: Fine M.McCook was fined $ 20-00 under Rule 88.1 o for failing to catch a dog as arranged.
Trainer M.Sutton was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 88.1o when a dog escaped from his trailer and ran loose.
A dog Trained by S.Gommans escaped from a holding kennel in the kennel block but no charges were preferred against Mrs Gommans as the kennel door was in an unsatisfactory condition and requires repairs.

Race 1	WELLINGTON HOUNDS @ HATRICK - C1 - 305	One of the better supported runners RUNNING TIGER was checked back to last early in the race, ran wide on the bend and finished well back.
Race 2	SPICERS PAPER - C0 - 305	WERES WOODSEY was very slow away, lost several lengths and tailed the field throughout.
Race 3	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1 - 520	Tightening on the first turn resulted in checks to NOOKYS WINK, THRILLING MYNA and SWEET SECRET who went back to the rear and they never recovered and finished in the last three places.
Race 4	TOTAL BODY SHOP - C4 - 305	ARANUI MIST ran in from the start and checked DUSTY'S DIAMOND, TEDDY TYLER and SHARIMORE who all lost ground and settled at the rear. FANTASY SHIFTER was checked and fell on the first corner but was uninjured. ARANUI MIST was badly obstructed in the incident, lost several lengths and all chance. SHARIMORE was also slightly affected in the incident.
Race 5	ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS SIX PACK - C3/4 - 520	CHARLIE CASH was bumped and pushed wide over extra ground on the first bend.
Race 6	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C1 - 305	Some general tightening on the first turn resulted in MISS ARISTOCRAT, HOLLABACK GURL and VOO DOO being checked to the rear and they finished in the last three places.
Race 7	CAMBRIDGE HOTEL WELLINGTON - C3 - 305	This event was started slightly early due to the all clear to load being given in error from the control van. SECRET PRINCE and PEPPERONNI were checked when racing back in the field on the first turn, lost several lengths and finished well back. THRILLING FLIRT A.Udy Rule 82 Suffered a slight toe injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 09.10.06
Race 8	UPPER VALLEY PANEL - C2 - 305	COREYS FLIGHT jumped in at the start and checked RALPH who settled in last place and finished near the rear.
Race 9	EXCHANGE HOTEL - LOWER HUTT - C2 - 520	THRILLING JESS dropped out early in the race and finished several lengths last. She was examined by the Vet and found to be suffering from shoulder muscle soreness and stood down for 5 days. PARADISE ECHO J.Jopson Scratched without penalty due to Rail Ferry cancellation. THRILLING JESS G.Atwood Rule 82 Suffering from shoulder muscle soreness and stood down for 5 days to and including 09.10.06.
Race 10	EL CHEAPO CARS - C4 - 305	SAILAH JAYNE and AMANDA CHOICE collided on the first turn and AMANDA CHOICE dropped back quickly onto the favourite OPAWA JAZZ and they never recovered, finishing at the rear. ROBERTALAN J.Jopson Scratched without penalty due to Rail Ferry cancellation.
Race 11	B & P ENGINEERING - C5 - 520	SCOTTAGO broke down on the first corner and dropped out to finish a long last. He was examined by the Vet and found to have a hind leg fracture and was stood down for 28 days. TIME SOLVES suffered a deltoid muscle injury and was stood down for 5 days. SCOTTAGO Garrett & Parata Rule 82 Suffered a hind leg fracture and was stood down for 28 days to and including 01.11.06 TIME SOLVES A & D Schofield Rule 82 Suffered a deltoid muscle injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 09.10.06.
Race 12	ANGLO UPHOLSTERERS - C5 - 305	TOKEN DIAMOND and THRILLING MARK jostled together for several strides in the race to the first corner and went back to the rear and finished well back. The favourite SURE TED checked off the heels of BIGBAD EDNA on the bend, lost a little ground but recovered to win the race.
Race 13	WELLINGTON @ HATRICK 11TH OCTOBER - C2 - 305	ARANUI TAMY, FLIPPITY JIBBIT, EXODUS and BEST TELL BRIAN jostled together for several strides in the race to the first corner, went back to the rear and stayed there to fill the last four places at the finish. HOMEBUSH RYAN J.Jopson Scratched without penalty due to Rail Ferry cancellation.
