Health and Safety comment: Hi Ross it was a pretty quiet meeting no major problems had great weather once again.

Judicial report: Weather: Fine Race 2 The Handler of Thrilling Moe, Mr Mark Evans, was reminded of his obligations in regards of the dress code of the Waikato Greyhound Racing Club.
Race 3 The Trainer of Royal Flair, Mrs Wright, has been spoken to in regards to the dogs raceday performance and she has advised that the dog will not be perservered with in the future.

Race 1 WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE DASH - C2/3 - 375 Glenmire was slow away. Entering the first turn Black Sal raced into a gap and in doing so checked Glenmire, Marble Nugget and Junior Time. Half way around the top bend Junior Nugget broke down badly and upon veterinary examination was found to have fractured its right hock. Marble Nugget (sprained right carpus and hock) Rule 82.1: 10 days to and including 13.10.06. Junior Time (broke down during race fractured right hock) Rule 82.1: 60 days standown to and including 02.12.06.
Race 2 SUPERIOR CHUNKY DOG ROLLS SPRINT - C1 - 375 Homebush Duncan and Thrilling Jaguar where slowest away. Entering the first turn Thrilling Moe and Another Laurel came together for a stride. Soon after entering the first turn Nutty Squirrel came across to the rail and checked Hypo Lomu. On the top of the bend Lily Longlegs shifted in on Maggy Jay at the same time as Homebush Duncan was improving through the field causing Maggy Jay to be checked and go down on her nose losing all chance in the race thereafter. A veterinay check was asked for by the trainerof Maggy Jay a punture wound was found on her left lip due to a broken muzzle. No other abnormalities were found.
Race 3 MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 457 Black Limosine was slow away. At the start Blue Twirl ran outwards and checked Royal Flair who never got into the race after that. Entering the first turn Blue Twirl and Seilatan came together for several strides buffeting each other and losing ground. Thrilling Storm Vet certificate supplied (stiffness in rising and lower back pain) Rule 64.12: 10 days standown to and including 13.10.06.
Race 4 T.A.B PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C1 - 457 Baxters Boy was slow away. Soon after the field left the boxes Shadys Mate headed towards the rail and in doing so caused Owney Joe Tarr, Thrilling Dane, Baxters Boy and Thrilling Patsy all to be checked causing them to lose ground. On the point of the top bend Baxters Boy who was improving ran into the back of Spring Bundy causing both dogs to be checked at that point. . .
Race 5 PICK SIX STARTS THIS RACE - C2/3 - 457 Thrilling Class was slow away. Raheny Reason and Hot Dickadee came together for several strides. On the point of the top bend Thrilling Class changed ground outwards to get a clear run and forced Hot Dickadee out onto Mochaccino who was severely checked and these two dogs raced wide into the straight losing ground. Heart Of Desire scratched out of Race 5 gained a start in Race 7.
Race 6 WAIKATO RACEPIX DASH - C4 - 375 As the boxes opened Rhani Reason went up in the air getting away awkwardly. Entering the first turn Velvot Revolver changed ground inwards and caused checks to Johnny and Homebush Bella and that caused general tightening of the field at that point.
Race 7 HAMILTON DISTANCE - C1/2d - 630 Heart Of Desire was slow away. Entering the back straight Thrilling Match had raced around the field and headed towards the lead and crossed towards the rail and in doing so caused checks to Thrilling Zeus and Richfield Reason. They lost a couple of lengths in this incident. Remo Blaster scratched (Strained anterior shoulder muscle) Rule 64.13: 10 days standown to and including 13.10.06.
Race 8 RACEWAY SPRINT - C5 - 375 Thrilling Hubba was slow away as was Loaded Gun who stumbled out of the boxes awkwardly. Spring Storm and Deadlock came together at the start for a couple of strides. Entering the first turn Fancy Bonnie got squeezed back to the rear as the field packed up going into the turn. On the point of the top bend Thrilling Hubba who was racing one off the fence made a sharp outwards movement and in doing so caused severe checks to Milena Miss and Lady Tandia causing them to race very wide coming into the home straight . A veterinary check was carried out on Thrilling Hubba no abnomalities were found. Reserve Decision scratched Bruising (haemorrhage behind metacarpal area) swollen left fore foot..Rule 64.13: 7 days standown to and including 10.10.06.
Race 9 COMMITTEE STAKES - C5 - 457 Race nine was delayed one minute due to the TAB having other committments at that time. Pattys Answer and Thrilling Tear were slow away. Entering the first turn Whiskey Lodge Lad crossed to the rail causing Patts Answer and Thrilling Tear to check back off him as Rothvale Reason was racing through at that stage and soon after Whiskey Lodge Lad ran up to the back of Thrilling Buzz when looking to improve at that stage. Dynamic Keroma scratched (kennel cough) Rule64.14: 28 days standown to and including 30.10.06.
Race 10 DUAL CODE HERE THURDAY 19 OCTOBER - C4 - 457 At the start Homebush Falcon came out and Homebush Bonnie came in squeezing out Rowland Reason, the eventual winner, to the rear. Entering the first turn Thrilling Neo collided with Homebush Falcon who ended up at the rear of the field eventually making good ground at the finish. Cecilia Henry scratched (left fore toe sprain) Rule 64.12: 10 days standown to and including 12.10.06. Limited Impact scratched (left fore split web) Rule 64.12: 10 day standown to and including 12.10.06.
