Judicial report: Weather: Fine M.Fornasiere was fined $ 25-00 under Rule 88.1 q for smoking while parading a dog to the start of a race. He had previously been warned and instructed not to do so.

Race 1 METEOR PRINTERS - C1 - 305 All clear. DOUBLE HAPPY C.Morris Rule 68 A late scratching due to kennel cough and stood down for 14 days to and including 28.09.06.
Race 2 DIMOCKS RETROVISION - C0 - 305 PAPAMOA LASS jumped in at the start and tightened TUGS TIP, THOMAS MCGREGOR and YULE TIDE who all lost ground and all chance of a placing. KIA KAHA ran wide on the bend and covered extra ground but ran on for 3rd placing.
Race 3 KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1/2 - 520 JONNY MARCO was slow to begin but recovered to run on well for 2nd place. LESHITA ran in from the start and checked UNO YOU LIKA, SMILER and FLOSSY BOOTS who all lost ground.
Race 4 HEADS ROAD VETERINARY - C0 - 305 MINSTRAL LAD, SEILATAN and AWESOME CUDDLES were slow to begin and settled back. BIGTIME RISK, TUAMORE, MATILDA and CHICITA bumped together for a few strides on the first corner and lost momentum. SEILATAN was`also checked soon after and lost ground.
Race 5 THE RADIO WORKS - C1/2 - 305 SECRET PRINCE, HOMEBUSH DIESEL, KWIK SOLVE and MR GULLIVER were all checked and lost ground on the first corner and they filled the last four places at the finish. JEN'S LASS J.Hill Rule 64 Suffering from a shoulder muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 23.09.06.
Race 6 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C4 - 305 ROLE MODEL was slow to begin and never made up the lost ground, finishing in last place.
Race 7 WANGANUI SECURITY - C3 - 305 The favourite SHARIMORE was slow away but rushed up to be handy near the first turn. SHARIMORE was then checked, lost several lengths and went back to last and stayed there to the finish.
Race 8 VITA-POWER EXCEED - C3/4 - 520 FATS DOMINO was forced wide on the first bend and continued to race wide throughout, finishing well back in 2nd last place. WEONA PIRATE W.T.Hodgson Rule 82 Suffered a toe injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 12.10.06. TEE TEE NINTY Garrett & Parata Rule 82 Suffered a haematoma on the shoulder and stood down for 7 days to and including 21.09.06
Race 9 GUTHRIE BOWRON - C5 - 305 BIGBAD EDNA ran very wide from the start and covered extra ground throughout to finish in last place. One of the favourites BIGTIME EXPLORER was one of the slowest away but was starting to make up ground on the first corner when checked back to last. BIGTIME EXPLORER then ran on well to finish in 5th place.
Race 10 MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C1/2 - 305 JUST A DRIP was very slow away and lost several lengths. He then started to improve but made contact with the rail on the first corner losing further ground and any chance of a placing.
