Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer M.J.Flipp was charged under Rule 81.1 in respect of the greyhound WHERES YABREEKS and the dog was required to undertake a satisfactory trial.

Race 1 BRIAN BAGLEY DRIVER LICENSING SPRINT - C3 - 310 On the turn SMART WINK and ASTRO ZAP came together and lost ground, with ASTRO ZAP tailing off to finish last whilst SMART WINK was pushed sideways but recovered to finish on for 5th.
Race 2 HARBROW ENGINEERING SPRINT - C0 - 310 THRILLING FLAME led into the turn, and was squeezed up between the crossing NOT A WHATA and INFECTIOUS AZZ causing the dog to check stride. THRILLING FLAME then clipped off the rear of NOT A WHATA going back on top of BOTOX BARBIE and BILLY NO MATES with all three dogs finishing at the rear of the field. WHERE'S ANOTHER (JT McInerney). Kennel cough. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 24 September 2006.Veterinary certificate to be supplied.
Race 3 COMMITTEE STAKES - C0 - 545 Into the first turn HEEZA FREE moved off the rail and struck TRINITY MAGIC, forcing WHATA ASSASSIN wide on the track. All three dogs finished at the back of the field. BAXTER SUE (JT McInerney) sore pads. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 21 September 2006.
Race 4 CONGRATULATIONS PHIL & TANIA SPRINT - C1 - 310 SWEDISH CHEF was very slow to trap and fell heavily in the back straight when it veered towards and struck the rail, and took no part in the race. A veterinary check after the race showed the dog had a fractured left front leg and the dog was humanely euthanased. On the turn SISSINGHURST came back on to the top of TWISTER SISTER and the favourite BLACK FIZZER with all three dogs losing any chance and finishing at the rear. SWEDISH CHEF (J.M.Jopson), Rule 82.1. Fractured left front leg. Euthanased on humane grounds.
Race 5 LEON CRAWFORD KP LASER SERVICES SPRINT - C0 - 310 ANOTHER PRIDE ran greenly in the back straight and crossed over to strike the rail, and went sideways, but recovered to finish the race and suffered no injury during the incident. WHERES YABREEKS was close up in the run to the bend, ran wide on the turn into the straight, took the lead and was observed to duck in onto MIGHTY POWER. The dog was charged under Rule 81.1 and ordered to undertake a satisfactory trial. WHERES YA BREEKS (MJ Flipp) Rule 81.1. Satisfactory trial to be undertaken.
Race 6 PAWS INN BOARDING KENNEL STAKES - C1 - 545 All clear.
Race 7 SPEEDPRINT SHOP SPRINT - C1 - 310 A cleanly run race with the favourite WIZELEE surging to the lead early and bolting in by 6 and half lengths from the dead heating HOMEBUSH CARLIN and MCCRACKENS BOY which were always close up.
Race 8 KEYOSK SERVICE BAR SPRINT - C1 - 310 In the run to the turn ANOTHER NOTCH, IN YOUR FACE and DOGGED PURSUIT jostled for position, with IN YOUR FACE pushed backwards and badly checking the running of HOMEBUSH CLAN which finished second last. THRILLING CROC (AC Roberts). Kennel cough. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 23 September 2006. Veterinary certificate to be supplied.
Race 9 TROTS AT FORBURY TONIGHT STAKES - C1 - 545 On the first turn FEVERISH was struck in the rear by OZARK MOON with both dogs tangling and forcing CLAN STAR and THRILLING TOPSY out wide on the track. THRILLING TOPSY ran on well for fourth, but FEVERISH never recovered to finish second last. REBEL CASTE (JF Allen) kennel cough. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 23 September 2006.
Race 10 WWW.GREYHOUNDSASPETS.ORG.NZ - C2 - 310 All clear. HOMEBUSH JESSIE (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling with a strained right carpus. Rule 68.26. 10 days up to and including 24 September 2006.
Race 11 RACING AT SOUTHLAND NEXT TUESDAY STAKES - C1 - 545 Around the first turn WHISKY LEE GIRL and PALONE came together twice and PALONE was pushed out wide. Both dogs finished towards the rear of the field.
Race 12 SAFE TRIP HOME SPRINT - C4/5 - 310 FARMOR BLISS led to the turn, was squeezed up for space and stumbled when JUST AS SHIFTY climbed into the rear of the dog. FARMOR BLISS finished second last. ZEPHYR KEROMA was well back early, got rails run on the turn when the field went wide and finished on for fourth.
