| Race 2 | EL CHEAPO CARS - C1 - 297 | Tightening at the start resulted in MYSTIC DANCER, BABYLON ANGEL and ONE FOR JACK being badly checked and losing all chance with BABYLON ANGEL being classed as falling.but was not injured. BOY RACER was handy early in the race but dropped out to finish last and was examined by the Vet and found to have a heart murmur and stood down for 7 days. He then made ground well but was checked at the end of the back straight when on the heels of HOLLABACK GURL but then recovered to win narrowly. EL GRINGO Gained a start in race 12 SHANGHAI Gained a start in race 11. PATRICIA SHERRY O.Marron Rule 64 Suffering from kennel cough and stood down for 10 days to and including 22.09.06. | Race 5 | UPPER VALLEY PANEL - C1 - 297 | IMAGE OF ISHBELL clipped the heels of STARLIGHT WOODS on the bend and they both lost a little ground but recovered to finish 2nd and 3rd. The winner DOUBLE HAPPY got very close to the lure on the bend but the Stewards were of the opinion that no runner was inconvenienced by that and payment of dividends was authorised. When questioned, the Lure Driver stated that the sun in his eyes at that point resulted in him being momentarily unsighted |
| Race 6 | ANGLO UPHOLSTERERS SPRINT - C3 - 297 | FANTASY SHIFTER was tightened on the first turn as outside runners moved in and she went back to last and stayed there to the finish. BOSSY ACE was also tightened in the incident and lost some ground. |
| Race 7 | PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C2 - 505 | JEN'S LASS was checked on the first corner, dropped back and checked ESPADRILLE and they never recovered and finished well back. The favourite BRITE OPAWA was also checked on the first turn and lost ground which he could not make up. MAGIC STAND B. Cole Greyhound escaped and missing from owners property.
