Race 1	WELLINGTON HOUNDS @ HATRICK - C1 - 305	EL GRINGO moved off the rail on the first turn and collided with NIAGARA CRESENT with both dogs losing ground and they finished at the rear. SWAPSY began awkwardly, settled well back and finished in 3rd last place.
Race 2	SPICERS PAPER DASH - C2 - 305	BIGTIME LEE checked off heels on the first turn and struck the rail soon after and dropped back to finish in last place. BIGTIME LEE was checked by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 3	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1 - 520	PURELY AWESOME was checked and lost ground when entering the back straight.
Race 4	TOTAL BODY SHOP SPRINT - C0 - 305	TUGS TIP ran in soon after the start and bumped the favourite SPOTTED ALLEGRO who lost ground and all chance of a placing. ROCKET WOLF and MARIOS MATE collided on the first turn, lost several lengths and tailed the field home. HOSTILE THUNDER P.Freeman Rule 64 Suffering from water diabetes and stood down for 28 days to and including 24.09.06. FOUR MEMORIES Ex Wanganui on 25.08.06. MINSTRAL LAD Gained a start in race 6.
Race 5	ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C3 - 305	ARANUI SPEEDY ran in from the start and checked SECRET PRINCE and the favourite CHARLIE CASH who settled at the rear. CHARLIE CASH was again checked on the bend, lost more ground and finished well back.
Race 6	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C0 - 305	SKATEBOARD, ICY DIGIT and MINSTRAL LAD were tightened and checked back to the rear on the first corner. ARANUI DIAMOND ran out on the bend and forced ICAN DRIBBLE and JANG wide over extra ground. LITTLE GYMNIST Ex Wanganui on 25.08.06.
Race 7	CAMBRIDGE HOTEL - WELLINGTON - C1/2 - 520	BANKSIDE GO GO was checked and fell soon after the start and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 8	EXCHANGE HOTEL - WELLINGTON - C1 - 305	WOODSTOCK ROCKS and FOG PATCHES were slow to begin and WOOD STOCK ROCKS settled at the rear. He was then checked on the bend when racing up onto the heels of JO BLOGGS and finished in last place. DOUBLE HAPPY and BIGTIME NIPPA collided on the bend, lost some ground and finished well back. LEGAL EDITION Ex Wanganui on 25.08.06.
Race 9	UPPER VALLEY PANEL - C4/5 - 520	KIWI ASSASSIN was checked back to last in the race to the first corner. HOMEBUSH GOLIATH, KIWI ASSASSIN, THRILLING LIZ and ONLY ONE DADDY were all checked on the first bend, lost several lengths and all chance of a placing. They filled the last four places. BIGTIME DALLAS Ex Wanganui on 25.08.06.
Race 10	EL CHEAPO CARS - C4/5 - 305	BIGBAD EDNA and MISSY LEE jostled together for several strides in the run to the first corner and lost some momentum. BIG NATE BANNER ran onto the back of MISSY LEE on the first turn and they both lost several lengths and tailed the field home. ROYAL AUSTY also suffered a check in the incident and finished just ahead of the other two.
Race 11	B & P ENGINEERING SPRINT - C4/5 - 305	TIMTAGEL STAR ran in on the first corner and checked LISSADELL PRINCE, PHAEDRA and TEE BONE with PHAEDRA dropping out to last before recovering to finish in 4th place. TEE BONE galloped onto the back of TIMTAGEL STAR on the bend, bringing that runner down. TIMTAGEL STAR was checked by the Vet and stood down for 10 days. TIMTAGEL STAR T.McCracken Rule 82 Fell and suffered muscle soreness and a wound to the lumbar region.and stood down for 10 days to and including 08.09.06.
