Judicial report: Weather: fine RACE No 6. Trainer Mrs L Nixon was charged with a breach of rule 71 .2, in that she was late to present her greyhound Certainly in the parade area as per the rules.
Mrs Nixon admitted the breach of this rule and did not wish to be present at the hearing.
In view of Mrs Nixon's frank admission of the breach of this rule and her very good record in being on time for presentaion of her greyhounds for racing in the past The Judicial Committee imposed a penalty of a Judicial Warning in this instance. Mrs Nixon was advised that this warning is on her record and any repetition of being late for presentation in the future would result in a fine.
Race No 2 Licenced trainer Mr. D D Schofield was late to catch the greyhound Indigo in this race . Mr. Schofield was bought before the Stewards and spoken to advisedly with regard to this matter. Mr. Schofield was advised that a repetition of being late would result in a charge against him.

Racing into the first turn Zambora Kezman and Holah A Hypo came together with both being checked in this incident. On entering the home straight Music Lesson moved out slightly and contacted Zamora Kezman causing Zambora Kezman to be severely checked, Killer Touch which was racing behind Music Lesson had to check off Music Lesson's heels and in doing so Killer Touch was also checked. Deadlock ran inwards checking itself when this runner struck Little Toot which continued to run out. Ivan Evans had to check off the rear of both Deadlock and Little Toot with Charlston Kid galloping on the hindquaters of Ivan Evans. Into the fist turn Deadlock continued its inward movement and once again checked itself and Foreign Diplomat which came out. Hopplar ran outwards after the statr and came in contact with Augusta Allen both these dogs suffered checks in this incident. Maximum also was slightly checked in this incident.
